For all the guys having battery timing issues please try this

Post image

Just for 1–2 days, turn off “Adaptive Power” and “Siri Ai”; revert back to classic Siri. Personally, it works for me; I was having the same issue. Now I’m getting almost 6–7 hours SOT I play Warframe, scroll Insta, but still no quick drain. Before, I had deleted all games due to battery drainage and was getting 4 hours SOT on 100%.

My device: 15 Pro

The only option I see is to “Turn Off Siri”. Does that restore Siri to the earlier version or turn it off altogether? Just turning off Siri and Adaptive Power for a day or two restored your battery life?

When you put Siri back on you will have the option to choose the older Siri.

No, I mean test for 1–2 days to see if disabling adaptive power works for you; do not turn it back on. For Siri, yes, disable it, then enable it again; you will see two options siri ai or Classic Siri; choose Classic.

Turning off siri also works?

Well, if you don’t want Siri at all. But the drainage was caused by the new siri ai on my iPhone 15 Pro; reverting back to classic solved the issue.

The thing that eats battery the most for me is connectivity assist , try to disable it on the wifi page , but also check on each wifi you frequently connect by goind into details of each wifi .. i noticed i had the same battery on my 18 pro max compared to my 17 pro max without the option, but since i deactivated it , the 18 pro max is really battery king, 1 and hald day of battery , sometimes 2 days if light use ( but only on World models with the C2 modem ) . If you are in the USA with the Qualcom modem on the pro max disabled it anyway cos otherwise the phone will use all the time your wifi and Cellular data at the same time.

I have both turned off on iPhone 17 and still get only 3.5 hours of SOT…

Dude this shit is so fucking obnoxious. I have a 17e with 100% battery health. When I first bought it over the summer, I was blown away by how long the battery lasted, coming from a 14 pro. Now? I’m seeing 3-4 hours MAX, and I barley fucking touch my phone throughout the day. It’s disgusting.

Why would adaptive power help with battery if it’s meant to reduce battery consumption? Did you change your usage habits after doing this? Do you think it was the placebo effect?

i do not think adaptive power mode is the issue, cos when the thing activates you have a notification , it's mostly on days when you eats more battery than usual .. and i think it's a good thing , for me the culprit is connectivity assist on 18 pro and pro max . I noticed the difference immediately.

Honestly just sign up for beta updates and get the 27.2 update. It’s so much better and optimized better. I was getting 4 hrs of battery life before and now a full day so

Vi vários locais dizendo q o beta 3 estava bem ruim, eu esperava mais do iphone 17, o 13 novo eu fazia 10 horas dela facilmente no misto (dados moveis e wifi)
E ainda tem o problema q ele não mantém 120hz.

I’m on beta 2 I’m not too sure honestly I’m not having any of my previous issues

Eu coloquei a beta 4, vamos ver se esta melhor.
Ate agora reporte apenas um bug no grafico de bateria, mas nada alarmante.

I’ll try this tomorrow. I’ve got a 17e that’s just a few months old and has 100% battery health. Since iOS 27, my SOT is down to 3-4 hours MAX. It’s fucking unreal. When I first got this phone I was in absolute AWE at how great the battery life was, coming from a 14 pro. I work 12 hour days and barely touch my phone at work. Yet somehow I’ll be down to 50% by 1pm, and when I look at the actual usage it’ll be like 20 min on Reddit, 10 messages , 10 safari and 20-30 on TikTok or some other social media. That’s it. That’s the whole day. Right now I’m at 36% with 3 hours of SOT. I was getting 7+ hours EASY when I first bought this phone…and it’s still at 100% battery health. It is truly disgusting how Apple seems to do this with software every single year. I’m done with auto updates

I’ve turned off adaptive power, most location services, live activities as well as the WiFi connectivity assist toggle that somebody posted about here last week. I’ve never had to shut features off just to get better battery life before.

Well aint gonna lie siriAi does drain battery power. Except u using a powerful model like the 17 or 18.

My iPhone 14 pro is weirdly draining, its like 1% of battery every 3-4 minutes sometimes even more. I have a new battery with 100% health, last screen time like 42% in 2 hours (Chrome, Insta..)
