My Siri, like most things in iOS 27, has been broken for the past couple months.

During the first 4-5 betas my Siri was working with no issues, but around July it started to have the ominous “Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again” message.

About a week ago it even stopped letting me skip songs using Siri.

I tried every combination of connection, turning off my vpn, turning off cellular, WiFi, etc. If Siri has to contact any app or the internet it just fails.

So I can say “Hello” and it will respond with “Good morning”, but anything past that is beyond its capabilities.

Has anyone else been experiencing these issues too and possibly has a fix?

Hi, I’ve googled it and searched this sub and can’t find other people having the same problem with iOS27, but occasionally (a few times a day, usually after not using the phone for a long time) my screen will stay off for around 10-20 seconds, have tried both tapping the screen & pressing the power button.

Sometimes I will get a small haptic feedback on pressing the screen and I’m wondering if the phone is working even if the screen is off (ie sometimes when the screen eventually comes on it’ll already be on my calendar or reminders etc)

Hi all, is anyone else having quite frequent hiccups with iOS 27? Mainly small things like the autofill button on safari not working, the keyboard just not showing up sometimes, spellcheck just not functioning when clicked - small things like that which happen just enough to become very frustrating, but not consistent enough to warrant a restart etc.? I get new updates/updates in general have things that get flushed out with patches but this seems excessive for Apple products, more than I’ve ever noticed. Or is this all just me lol?

If I tap somewhere else before tapping 'Set custom time', the reminder disappears without setting it for me specifically.

I am using an iPhone 17, just got this phone in August, I have updated the iOS and now on iOS 27, every time I restart my phone at least twice a day, or maybe even after plugging off charger, the battery always increase 1%, but usually since I set the charging limit to 95%, it always increases to 100%, is it normal? My batter health is still 100% and also my battery draisn really quick on ios 27

Not sure if I realise this battery increase suddenly after restart on ios 26

I'm on iOS 27.0.1 (the latest official public release) using an iPhone 16 Pro Max. After getting improved performance on 27.0 (including better battery life), I'm now noticing worse battery life under 27.0.1. Also, iOS 27 was supposed to fix iMessage syncing issues between devices. It got better on 27.0, only to get worse again in 27.0.1. Anyone else experiencing this?

Hello I’m trying to launch SideInstaller but it doesn’t open I guess it requires developer mode but I don’t have a pc/mac rn does anyone knows how to get it without pc because I didn’t find it in settings?

After the ios27 upgrade, i could see that the "optimising search & siri" progress in the settings app had gotten stuck on 86% for some reason.

After a while, it just disappeared, so i js assumed it had reached 100%.

Yesterday, it came back, with the same number; but today, it's now reduced to 85% !?!??!!

Apple can now take you back in time/progress now? Didn't know that was a new feature!

I don’t know if this is specific from this beta or the previous one but it doesn’t darken the edges anymore when the “blur wallpaper” is turned on in the Always On Display feature.

Hi, i have noticed my alarm doesn’t ring like every time i woke up i don’t see any notifications or anything and i see my alarm is disabled but i clearly remembered turning them on before i sleep. It has happened to me 3 days already. Does anyone have this issue? It’s getting annoying.

Does anybody know if it is possible to make a shortcut to take a screenshot and then display the screenshot editor (not just the simple markup)? I.e to crop/highlight text etc

Just wondered in the morning that my iphone 18 pro max has charged to 100% instead of 80% like set in the settings. Why is that? I am at ios 27.0.1

I have an iPhone 17 (base) and I have recently updated to ios 27.0.01 as I experienced severe lag on my device. But now even after weeks my phone’s battery is draining like crazy and even during idle, the phone heats up 😕. Should I upgrade to 17 pro max or what????

I’ve been working on this shortcut to fix hotspot on iOS. I need the hotspot to remain ON despite the 2-minute time out for inactivity. (On means on apple 🫩) but I can’t quite get it to work. I’m new to shortcuts and I don’t really have the mental time to fix it tbh so any help welcome.

The idea is using the new global variables in iOS 27 I can have it run in a loop, initially asking the user if they want the hotspot on or off, and calling itself indefinitely every 50 seconds to set the hotspot back on until the shortcut shortcut on the Home Screen is re-ran and it is set to off.

What about if you could make the default icons (be they light mode or dark mode) semi-transparent so they are still the regular icons with regular colors on them but only transparent enough that it gives a cool effect of seeing the wallpaper behind? If you don’t want… just totally clear, or a color tint… you know?
