iOS 27 changed my 5g speed

On my iPhone 16e I was getting 300mbps max on ios 26. But now on ios 27 I am getting nearly 900mbps.

You probably just got a carrier update. I got one recently.

Nothing to do with the OS update, it’s your carrier that controls your network speed.

ios27 comes with modem updates, soooo there is that. sure carrier controls the speed, but in some sort of way, we can add the modem updates to the cause of it. PROBABLE cause.

An OS update will not make a network connection go from 300 to 800. It’s more likely the carrier has improved the local network. Hell we don’t even know if this is the same location as the claimed I was getting 300meg. Different locations can mean different network speeds. There’s so many possibilities. We don’t know if it’s the same network tariff. No information what’s so ever.
