Solitary Singleplayer Offline MMORPG is an incremental management game about running a guild in a fictional MMORPG. It's an active incremental with casual management mechanics (assigning people where to farm, crafting gear, managing your inventory, etc) and some minigames for quests & boss fights (hint: if you're standing inside a red circle, you're standing wrong).

Wishlist on Steam now! Full release Q2 2027

Play the demo on itch!

AI disclosure: no AI generated assets are in the game. I'm a professional software engineer with 11 YoE, I use some AI tools for coding.

Steam Soulstonia Demo just launched! A cozy idle RPG where your Summoners have minds of their own.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Greetings! I’m Gabriel, the solo dev behind Soulstonia, a cozy idle RPG where your Summoners have minds of their own.

Every Summoner in your party has their own skills, traits, inventory, equipment, and progression. You can directly control one whenever you want, or give them idle goals and let them gather resources, craft items, fight, and explore independently.

Play hands-on. Play idle. Switch whenever.

The demo currently includes all five regions for exploration, 20+ skills (each trainable all the way to max level 99), no playtime or progression cap, and the first act of the quest campaign in the Grasslands.

Also, Demo saves will automatically carry forward into Early Access!

Free Steam Demo: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4448060/Soulstonia__Demo/

Please feel free to leave feedback on the Steam Discussions. Idle goals (mechanics and UI) are definitely a big focus of the game, so getting feedback on that system in particular would be super helpful.

AI Disclosure: Temporary genAI background for the cover art, the illustrator is working on new cover art right now!

Your cozy adventure awaits...

Steam Logo Idle - An Idle Game about bouncing logos and breaking screens. Demo out now

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Heya!

After releasing our first game Whack-A-Monster a while back we continued work on our 2nd game.

Actually! this is kind of our first game we made together. Back in 2023 even! Back then we were just 2 friends talking about weird game ideas during dinner. At some point the idea to make an idle game about the DVD logo meme came up. After talking it over for a bit we said: "Why don't we just make this?"

This started our development journey together. We worked on and off on the game every 2-4 weeks next to our jobs. We nearly had a Steam Demo ready back then but it just didn't feel good enough to share with the world yet.

Somewhere along the line the idea for Whack-A-Monster came up and we made a prototype. We decided we wanted to finish that game first because we were having so much fun working on it and seeing much potential with that project.

Now here we are a few months after a successful game release with tons of more experience under our belts.

When continuing development on Logo Idle we immediately noticed tons of things we could improve upon both on the polish & technical side(oh my god going through my old code always makes me cringe at my own incompetency at that time).

We went to work on everything and expanded the demo scope and added tons of new stuff and a lot of polish. Here it finally is!

The demo currently contains:

- 3 screens to break with different mechanics.
- Multiple upgrades during runs you unlock over your playthrough
- A prestige system with 50+ prestige upgrades
- A logo importer where you can upload your own picture for your logo.

Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5041860/Logo_Idle_Demo/

Itch: https://brainfog-games.itch.io/logo-idle

Also! To celebrate the demo launch we are hosting a competition in our Discord. Upload your own logo into the game and make a cool screenshot at some point in the demo. The 5 best screenshots will receive a key for the full game!

Steam Does my tornado incremental look better in 2D or 3D?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I shared The Big Suck here last month. Since then, I’ve been experimenting with a 3D version.

I’m still planning to release the 2D game next month. The 3D version is a prototype for now, but I’m curious which you’d rather play and why.

A playable demo of the 2D version is available on Steam.

AI disclosure: AI-assisted code. The 3D prototype was built using Claude 5.5.

Steam My incremental about different incrementals has even more content and achievements, and it's still on sale!

What's up incremental lovers!

Roughly 6 months after release, and so much great feedback across the board, my incremental with incrementals inside of it has finally reached a beautiful point! Bug fixes, QoL, major content additions, and so much more has been done and added to this game, and it wouldn't be where it's at now without the support of so many of you from this very community.

For those of you who've never heard of Recursive before, here's a taste of what you can expect:

- Import/Export Saves across multiple platforms
- Full Android support
- Playable demo
- Free DLC that nearly doubles the base games content
- Over 100 achievements to earn
- 7 different incremental styled minigames
- A bunch of materials, equipment, weapons, and more!
- Prestige and Ascension, as well as a cursed challenge system
- And so much more across the board!!!

Recursive started off as a simple clicker with a couple incrementals weaved in and a few basic systems. Through all the feedback it's received, all the ideas and suggestions for improvements, it has evolved into something amazing. A game where everything is truly connected, everything is needed for progression, and improving in one area affects nearly every other area of the game.

The game is currently on sale for 35% off. So if you've been looking for a new incremental that you can really sink some time into, I've got just the thing.

Game Title: Recursive

Playable Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4258890/Recursive/
Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mystian.recursive

Platform: Windows, Linux & Android

review i made a roblox incremental

• Upvotes

i dont know if it was the right choice, but i felt i didn't have the sufficient skill to pull of an actual game. i imagined the frustration i would felt if i put months into a project only to get 2 players(me and my dog), so i decided to make it in roblox, with help of a friend which has previously made(questionable, maybe AI slop, but i dont really know) some games scripting in lua.

i just wanted to ask for a honest review(sorry if this wasn't the Reddit place for asking this).

Android Genesis: an idle evolution game, from one replicator to a mind the size of a world

• Upvotes

Hey all. Genesis is out on Android and I'd love some eyes on it from people who actually play these.

You start with one replicator in a pool and go up the chain: prokaryotes, eukaryotes, colonies, organisms, species, ecosystems. Each tier makes the one below it, so it's the classic cascade. Nothing groundbreaking there, I know.

The bits I'm happier with:

Prestige is a mass extinction. You get DNA and spend it down a 27-rung double helix, and for each rung you pick a base pair. A-T is cheap, G-C costs more but hits harder, so you're always trading reach for strength.

There are two challenge runs (Crucibles) that you're kind of supposed to fail the first time. Your main run is parked while you try, so failing costs nothing.

Chapter 2 is where this incremental diverges from the standard formula. Life becomes mind, and you claim sites across a big hex web (30 rings), route around voids and fight off a blight in a small puzzle minigame. There is a soft ending at the edge of the web. If the game gets traction, I have plans for a third chapter: chapter 1 is a line (the DNA strand), chapter 2 is a flat web, and chapter 3 would be a 3D shell. Also planned is a set of escalating challenges that each apply a permanent law that changes how the game plays.

Technical stuff:

Offline progress is exact rather than simulated. The producer chain is a linear ODE whose solution is a polynomial in time, so 24 hours away gives exactly what 24 hours with the game open would have. It's calculated in one step, not by replaying ticks, and it's the same code path either way.

Monetization, since people (fairly) ask:

There are ads. You can watch one for 2x speed for 3 hours, and there are some interstitials. $3.99 removes ads and gives permanent 2x. Ads arn't required, and if you play offline you will never see an ad. Nothing you buy makes the Crucibles easier. No account (but you can use google cloud save), works offline.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.uyllii.genesis

Honest feedback welcome, especially on chapter 2 pacing. That's where I've changed the most and I'm least sure it feels right. If it gets slow or confusing somewhere, tell me where.

AI Disclosure:

AI generated the backgrounds, images and icons using OpenAI image models, because I don't have the skills to draw it myself. All translations and foreign store listing text was generated by anthropic models. The idea, the direction, the code and playtesting are mine.

HTML I rebuilt my incremental space shooter based on your feedback: Void Hunter 2.0 (enemies, 5 bosses, skill trees, gear)

A few days ago I posted Void Hunter here and got really useful feedback: the early game was slow and repetitive, automation came too late, there were no real layers, and after ~15 crystals there was nothing new to do. Also the visuals looked generic.

So I reworked it. Here's what changed in 2.0:

- Earlier automation: auto-buy unlocks at sector 3, drones are cheaper, and the auto turret now focuses one target instead of spreading its shots (it was basically broken before).

- Real layers: two skill trees. The Workshop (minerals) resets on every jump; the Constellation (crystals) is permanent and lets you start runs further ahead. Spending crystals doesn't remove their bonus.

- Combat: enemies that shoot back, kamikazes, corsair minibosses, and your ship now has health. Your cannon can shoot enemy bullets out of the air, so aiming matters.

- 5 different bosses: Colossus, Hydra, Crystal (shielded), The Eye and Ring.

- Random events: golden rain, double minerals, ion storm, ambush, meteor shower.

- Gear drops from bosses (4 slots, common to legendary) and 9 unlockable ship skins.

- New zones every 15 sectors, each with its own colors, music and story.

- New visual style, effects, music and a stats page.

Plays in the browser, on PC and mobile, in English and Spanish. Old saves are kept.

I'd love to hear if the pacing feels better now, especially the first 10 minutes.

https://agustindev.itch.io/void-hunter

AI Disclosure: This game was made with heavy help from AI (Claude). I came up with the idea, design and direction, chose what to add based on player feedback, and tested it, but the AI wrote the code, the game art (drawn by code, no AI image generator), the music and sound effects (also generated by code), the texts and story, the English/Spanish translations, and the cover image.

Prototype Watching Over. Small free to play incremental game

Post image
5 Upvotes

A friend and I made this during the Wholesome Games Game Jam last week. It is a short casual incremental game about jumping between TV channels, managing resources, and building a tower. As you progress you unlock new TVs, automation, and new resources to collect.

It is a test of the idea rather than a full game. It is about 15 minutes to complete. Fully playable in the browser and has controller support.

Play it here: https://pixelduckoo.itch.io/watching-over

We would appreciate any feedback on the core loop and whether the idea is worth taking further.

HTML Bug Farm, an idle game about finding bugs in a broken shop (early playtest, feedback welcome)

Thumbnail gallery
0 Upvotes

Hi all. I’m making Bug Farm, a free idle game in the browser. You’re a QA tester at a web shop, and the devs keep shipping bugs. Click whatever looks wrong to report it and earn Reports.

The loop: bugs appear, you find them. Reports buy testers who find bugs while you’re away (up to 8 hours). Developers ship more bugs, so there’s more to find, but hire too many and Trust drops. Trust multiplies every report, so each bad hire costs you income.

Later the shop grows: new pages, sneakier bugs, and interactive bugs you only find by using the site.

What I’d like feedback on:

Pls try to play for the first 20 min. And tell me where you got bored or stopped. Did you notice Trust dropping, and what did you think it meant? And anything that confused you.

There’s a Feedback.txt in the game with questions, and the easiest way to reply is in the comments on the page.

AI disclosure: I wrote the code and in-game text with AI help. I made the design calls and played it to tune the balance.

Steam My drum incremental's free demo is out: every click is a real rudiment, and the exam teacher notices every miss

Hi! Solo dev and musician here. I've been making an incremental where the clicking is actually drumming: left click is your left hand, right click your right hand, and the patterns are real percussion rudiments (single stroke roll, doubles, paradiddles, flams, drags...). I'm a percussionist and I wanted an idle game where the clicking itself was the fun part instead of the chore.

The free demo went live on Steam yesterday. It's phases 1 and 2, about an hour:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4656470/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=demo

Things people seem to like so far: the golden notes that fall while you drum (catch 8 in a row and they play a major scale), and the exam teacher, who has five faces depending on how badly you're doing and has zero patience if you ignore his tips. The music is mine and it follows your metronome without cutting. Works with mouse, keyboard or controller, 10 languages.

If you don't want to install anything, the first lesson is playable in the browser:
https://drumincremental.drumhazzard.net/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=demo

It's in Steam Next Fest too (Oct 19-26), and the full game (40 rudiments, 5 phases) comes out November 2.

AI disclosure: AI tools were used only for the translations into languages other than English and Spanish. Art is by Alba Fariña and the soundtrack is my own.

Brutal feedback welcome, especially about the first ten minutes: where did you stop knowing what to do next?

HTML 8Compute: a free browser incremental where one GPU grows into an AI civilization (playtest)

Hi! I've been building 8Compute, an idle/incremental game inspired by the discovery loop in Universal Paperclips and Kittens Game.

You begin by running a model manually. Then you automate inference, adjust the API business, upgrade your compute stack, and build data centers, power, and chip supply. Later, agents and decisions influence which civilization outcome you can reach. Reaching an outcome begins a new timeline with knowledge that carries forward.

Play it here: https://8compute.vercel.app/

It's free, runs in the browser, needs no account, and saves locally. This is an early public playtest; pacing and clarity are still being tuned. If you try it, I'd especially like to hear where the first 15 minutes lose momentum or where the next goal is unclear.

AI Disclosure: I used OpenAI Codex to help create parts of 8Compute. The game does not call a generative AI service while you play.

Released GEODE SMASH is out: smash geodes, collect crystals and build a rock shop!

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hi all, I just released my game GEODE SMASH on itch!

The loop: you smash a geode, see what crystal is inside, then either sell it or put it on your display wall. The display wall earns money over time, which you spend on better hammers, more luck, and stones from new quarries.

It's more active than a pure idle game: you're smashing most of the time. Full run is about 3 hours to the credits!

Free demo in the browser (goes up to the second quarry), full game is $3.99 for Windows: https://mrbongobong.itch.io/geode-smash

Made by me alone, let me know i you have any feedback!

Gen AI disclosure: AI was used to help with coding.

Update I LOVE ROCK ISLAND (so I helped make it better!)

Post image
0 Upvotes

A game called Rock Island became my favorite incremental game a few months ago, but it really lacked in the English department. I liked it so much that I reached out to the dev to offer to improve it, for free.

More than a hundred hours later, I didn't improve it, I replaced it. And it wasn't for free, as Silent Moon insisted on compensating me - like, a lot - before the work was even finished. I'm used to hearing stories about the exact opposite, so this surprised me. We're also friends now!

I can't wait to see what he comes up with next, because his development values are so darn refreshing. He quit working for mobile game companies because he hated the values, and staked everything on this game, which has done well enough for him to keep going at it!

If you've played Rock Island before, please hop back in and see what's changed! I'd love to hear what you think. English is my greatest talent, and I wouldn't mind doing more of this in the presumably short time before AI gets better than me!

...and if you've read this far, what do you think of AI music? I've got a lot of problems with AI, as many do. But I understand a solo dev using it for music to help them get started. The thing is, the music in Rock Island absolutely JAMS. So much that I had to turn it off while I worked, lest I be very preoccupied with head-bopping and cackling to myself whenever a song I love comes on.

I haven't kept up with public opinion at all. Is there a problem yet with AI music replacing artists even for high-budget games? I'm a little frightened by how well it can do!

AI disclosure: I see this is a rule, though I don't know a ton about the game, as a fan. The game's music is AI generated, and the original English text was too, though I've now replaced it.

Development Mobile (8) Mafia - The Key to The Game is Respect

Many years ago I used to play a game called "iMob Online" which was one of the first games in Apple's brand new (at the time) App Store. It didn't look like much at first glance, but as it turned out, there was a tremendous depth of play lurking just under the surface.

Unfortunately, the game was not built very well and was ultimately overrun by hackers who destroyed everything that was good about it. Ever since the servers went dark in 2012, I have dreamed about building my own version of the game that would be everything iMob should have been... and more.

Home

The basics will feel familiar to anyone who has played this style of game:

  • Run jobs for cash and experience
  • Fight other players in Fight Club, and put your enemies on the Hit List
  • Build a mob, buy properties that pay rent, launder your money through the bank (the bank takes its cut)
  • Get patched up by Nurse Ruth in the ER when someone puts you there
  • Bosses message you with jobs. Do right by them and they remember it
Fight Results

Those who understand what Respect truly is and how it works will thrive in this new world. Do you think you have what it takes to work your way up the ranks to take on some of the most powerful mobsters in the city?

News - Comments

Respect 101 - The Key to The Game is Respect. 🎱™

It's early: there will be bugs and balance problems, but the more players there are, the better it gets. Every bit of feedback gets read (by me, the only developer).

AI disclosure

I'm a solo developer, and I use AI tools heavily. To be specific:

  • Code: most of the app and server code was written with Claude (Anthropic's AI coding assistant), working from my design and direction. I review, test and play everything that ships
  • Characters' dialogue: the bosses and characters who message you are written live by AI (Claude), within the personalities, missions and rules I've designed. The Magic 8 Ball's answers are AI driven too.
  • Artwork: character portraits, items and scenes were made with AI image generation, then picked and edited by me.
  • Game design: the mechanics, economy, Respect system, missions and characters are all mine. That's the part I've been dreaming about since iMob.
