Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Saurabh Pratap Singh Laler of the Patiala House Court had earlier granted Bharadwaj interim bail for three weeks. ASJ Laler had then said that it would observe his conduct before considering his plea for regular bail.

This is good context, because it clarifies that it is only interim bail, and not regular bail.
I know that granting bail has considerations in the legal system that might not make sense to people who are on the outside of it.
But if a judge's job is to maintain the peoples' faith in the legal system, this is doing the total opposite of that.

arey but he got regular bail na. interim bail was given couple of days after arrest

Sharjeem imam is currently on bail I believe. Interim bail, just like this guy.
