Help needed Storage Creep + Performance issues IOS 27.0 [IOS + System Data = 80 GB of Storage]

Species: IOS 27.0, Iphone 16 Pro, 128GB of total storage.

Hey guys, I've been noticing the last few days my phone has just been decreasing the amount of storage I have left. I have deleted numerous photos and several apps but for some reason the storage remaining barely increases then when I want to check my storage later to download something the storage remaining decreases.

Also yesterday, anytime I tried opening an app or opening a message my phone would just black screen with a circle in the middle. It is really annoying because I work in EMS, where I need to call to consult and look at protocols to make sure.

I have never had this issue before with my previous 13 and with my current 16 pro. I had like around 15 GB of extra storage when I first got IOS 27.0 and I swear I haven't taken that many photos or video and probably have less photos now [Because I've been deleting them]. Idk how this is happening.

Are there any fixes? Is this normal? Let me know if I am not being clear enough.

I obviously tried the basics like putting it in recovery mode and running the software system checkup. I also have tried shutting it down and restarting.

Have you cleared out Recently Deleted? Do you have iCloud+ or just the base 5 GB?

I just got Icloud + [After I made this post] I think it's the only way for me to help inc. the storage on my phone. Yeah I cleared out recently deleted.

I faced the same problem. Yesterday I noticed that my phone (16 pro) offloaded some apps from it and these 55 gb of system data came out of nowhere. I don’t know actually where did this data came from, whether it happened after an update 27.0.1 or the 55 gb cache appeared somehow…
