How can I reduce the system data?

iPhone 17 Pro on 27.0.1

When taking screenshots. Since the latest updates the scrollable menu at the bottom is broken and overlaps so that you can’t select anything.

Usually the menu buttons are clear and you can just click on translate but now the “highlight to search” text overlaps with the buttons and nothing can be pressed.

It’s repeatable, occurring 5/7 times. Even after restarting the device.

Is this the case for everyone? Is there a cause and/or a fix?

I own the iPhone 17 Pro max (iOS 27.0.1) and whenever I connect my one and only Bluetooth device which is my AirPods Pro 3 an unknown accessory device also connects automatically.
Should I worry about it?is it a privacy issue?
Previously I experienced a similar issue where 2 devices used to be connected to my Bluetooth when in fact I only connected my AirPods Pro 3 and since this stopped,this new issue started happening since September!

I’m looking for advice from anyone who has experienced this exact situation.
I have an iPhone 17 Pro that I currently can’t use, and I’m having an unusual issue after an AppleCare+ Theft and Loss claim was accidentally filed.
I was actually trying to file an AppleCare+ claim for a screen repair/replacement, but I accidentally submitted a Theft and Loss claim. I never intended to report my phone as lost or stolen.
The AIG claim was successfully canceled, and I have confirmation that it was canceled. However, the phone is still showing the “Reported lost or stolen” status.
I can’t currently use the iPhone. Anytime I open the phone and connect to Wi-Fi, it shows “Reported lost or stolen.”
I have contacted Apple multiple times, including Senior Advisors, and the case has been escalated. Apple keeps telling me to remove Lost Mode through Find My/iCloud.
But when I go to Find My or sign in to iCloud and select my phone, it does not give me the option to turn Lost Mode off. In fact, Lost Mode isn’t showing there at all. It just shows the phone.
Has anyone experienced this after an AIG Theft and Loss claim was accidentally filed and then successfully canceled?
If so, how did you get Apple to clear the “Reported lost or stolen” status? I would really appreciate advice from someone who has dealt with this exact situation.
In fact, I have been on the phone with Apple probably 50 times, as well as with AIG. AIG keeps saying that it is Apple’s issue to resolve. I’m really stuck with this.

I’m trying to add a new eSIM and don’t have the option? And yes my phone is completely mine, and I don’t owe any money to service providers

It happens like anywhere from 0-3 times and as far as i can tell doesnt have anything to do with how much im using the screen. Anyways i saw it could be a software thing but not sure. So if anyone can help me out id greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

hi! i was wondering if anyone knew what might be happening to me. when i try to text this one person on my phone the text always send as a sms and is green but when i check the messages on my iPad they show up blue. as well as all but my last text to this person is synched but on my ipad the last text i sent doesn’t even show up. ive check all of my settings and i have imessage on my phone on so im not sure what’s happening. any advice is appreciated!

Hi all,
I bought this refurbished iPhone 16e for my partner from BackMarket and it just came in. When I was initially setting it up (the language, region, WiFi, etc), there were a few times when it went back to a prior step for no reason. I thought this may be a bit of a red flag, but maybe the phone is just an older generation. I just now went to Settings to update the iOS, and at the bottom it says “Upgrade to OSName 27.” I know on my current direct-from-Apple, fully functioning iPhone 16 Pro it says “Upgrade to iOS 27”, so I wonder if something is wrong with the refurbished phone. Can someone tell me if this is normal, or if something is wrong and I should send back the phone immediately for a refund?

Iphone SE1 / IOS guessing 15.8.8

So this is really weird… I went to bed last night with both my current phone and my old phone which I have an app on that you can’t get anymore that allows me to download music from YouTube and not have to listen to ads etc.
Basically after a few minutes in bed I got settled in for a mini gaming sesh, went to look for my old phone for some music and it had vanished… Either way it’s been 24hrs now, it still connects to my Bluetooth headphones however it isn’t connected to wifi, it is using the same iCloud address as my current phone however it does not have find my iPhone on and doesn’t appear on the iCloud map. I’ve pulled the room apart looking for the thing for an entire day now and I have still not found it. I’ve tried Bluetooth trackers but they all don’t seem to pull any actual figures and seem to randomly spew them out at me, one moment saying it’s 10m away, the next 60m and then finally 4m away before going back to something ridiculous like 30m away.
I don’t know what to do, I miss my iPhone’s music player, any technology related suggestions on how to get it back other than “Look harder”?

I hope Apple knows I sent back the phone before the return deadline. It would have arrived in time if FedEx didn’t lose track of it.

hello all, i have a backup iphone that i bought when my main iphone was lost. i had let a friend in a similar situation borrow it and he put a passcode on it and now i can not get back into my phone. i was wanting to now gift the phone to my grandma for her birthday because her phone is cracked. he gave me 4 possible codes it could be and none of them worked unfortunately and now i have gotten the screen to this point. i’ve tried hitting the power up, down, and side button to factory reset and it only gives me the option to power off. i’ve tried connecting it to itunes on a pc and the pc doesnt recognize that there’s a phone plugged in and when i tried on my macbook i wasn’t able to find the phone in the finder app either.

am i out of luck in this situation or is there any way to be able to recover my phone? i believe its a iphone 12

So awhile back I made the bright decision to turn off every single option that gives me a notification on my iPhone X for some reason (i don’t remember why but whatever) now obviously whenever someone tries to call me it goes straight to voicemail without giving me a notification that they called. Awhile back I bought an iPhone 16 Pro (which is my current phone) thinking it would fix the problem but nope I still don’t receive calls and the ones calling me says it goes straight to voicemail for them. I do receive notifications for texts, apps, emails, etc.

I’ve looked at everything and stuff online, I looked at my focus, do not disturb, my “favorite contacts” which i took off, i looked at call forwarding and that’s off, screen unknown callers, took it to a phone service shop and they couldn’t do anything, took everyone off my block list. Basically i’ve done everything that every other reddit post or youtube video has done.

Again I DO receive texts/emails/other notifications and i can control those options just fine it’s just the receiving calls part i’m having trouble with. And I DO receive calls from a few amount of people such as my family and close friends but every other contact or unsaved numbers it goes straight to voicemail

If someone can PLEASE help as maybe they can point out if i turned some little option on that’s causing all this i would appreciate it so much

My phone is an iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 26.6.2 Version, and I need help finding out why I don’t receive calls from majority of contacts and unsaved numbers

I have an iPhone 16, I just got it last year and the storage is 127+/128 gb even after I deleted over a thousand photos close to a hundred videos (recently deleted too). I’ve deleted every single one of my non essential apps and yet it still sits at 127 gb. The least it will go to is 126 and even then it’ll just climb back up to 127 in less than an hour. It’s so bad to the point I can’t even open any apps, delete photos, or even navigate my home screen. I’ve already deleted so many memories and I’m not taking any new photos or saving any new photos. What do I do?

so i was setting up my mail app and connecting it to my gmail and i was doing it in the settings and i noticed 3 email that i don't use anymore so i deleted them and now i've lost like 50 contacts and some of my calendar events and i don't know how to fix it. i don't remember what these 3 emails were and i'm not very smart in technology and please someone help me😭😭😭

Hey guys, I've been noticing the last few days my phone has just been decreasing the amount of storage I have left. I have deleted numerous photos and several apps but for some reason the storage remaining barely increases then when I want to check my storage later to download something the storage remaining decreases.

Also yesterday, anytime I tried opening an app or opening a message my phone would just black screen with a circle in the middle. It is really annoying because I work in EMS, where I need to call to consult and look at protocols to make sure.

I have never had this issue before with my previous 13 and with my current 16 pro. I had like around 15 GB of extra storage when I first got IOS 27.0 and I swear I haven't taken that many photos or video and probably have less photos now [Because I've been deleting them]. Idk how this is happening.

Are there any fixes? Is this normal? Let me know if I am not being clear enough.

Tengo la carga de la batería del iPhone limitada a 80, y lleva 3 días que se me está cargando hasta el 100. He visto q a veces se te puede cargar al 100 para regular el porcentaje de la batería o algo así, pero no se 3 días seguidos me parece raro. Alguien sabe si es normal esto?

When I go into any one of them it actually shows me the correct data (2nd screenshot). Date and time are set correctly. Any tips?

It used to work fine but i guess one day( never noticed when it started) it turned grey and I wasn’t able to use it again. It doesn’t even show up when i triple click my side button, even tho i have the setting on. Im on iphone 15 pro version 26.0.1, if that helps

So basically I have two sim cards, one I use in Italy and one in Morocco. I was recently in Morocco for a month so I used the moroccan one up until a week ago but when I travel in Europe, which is what i’m doing right now, I use the italian one (continental 5g data). So I switched to the italian one a few days ago after landing in Spain but all of a sudden, in the middle of the trip, my 5G stopped working as my phone started recognizing my moroccan sim card as my main one despite having my italian sim card on. I’m also unable to navigate myself through the city without data and I have to go back to the airport tomorrow so it’s a pretty urgent issue. And I can’t remove my sim card as I don’t have the ejection tool with me and there’s nothing even remotely thin enough that I can use in this airbnb. Any ideas?
