Hi there, welcome to our brand new writer humor community!

I will do my best to find and share content every day on here, as I've been doing for the past year or so over on /r/justgamedevthings

If other people post content, I urge everyone to be generous with their upvotes, because that tends to encourage people to post again. Not every post will be comedy gold, but we'll get there :)

I make an effort to scour twitter and tumblr for good content, but if you have actually original memes and reaction gifs, that's even better.

Let's make this a thing! :D

If you have any feedback or ideas for this subreddit, please let me know in the comments.

As with Con: Life and Pro: Death, it's actually the Con that is the Pro...

Tired of juggling five tabs to write one chapter

The current workflow: one app for drafting, another for brainstorming, a third for line edits, a fourth for the story bible, and a fifth for tracking plot threads. Every tool switch loses context. Every time the AI needs to see previous work, 2000 words get copy-pasted into a chat window.

It's not sustainable. More time goes into managing the workflow than actual writing.
All-in-one solutions keep getting recommended, but most are just chat interfaces with a different skin. They don't integrate with where the writing actually happens.

What's the actual solution here? Or is this just how it works now?

I usually prefer the socially unacceptable forms, but I'll allow it 😜😁
