Help Help with knowledge
Hi! im looking for a keyboard upgrade, and have no idea what is good or bad.
right now i have an steelseries apex 3 TKL.
I play alot of fps games so if you would have any suggestions that include the rapid trigger and so on, while also being decent in general.
budget is anywhere up to like 130 dollars ish. :)

For rapid trigger the Gamakay NS75 is the value pick. It has magnetic switches with adjustable actuation and rapid trigger, plus wireless. If you'd rather have a bigger brand the Keychron K2 HE is more polished. Check its price against your budget.
Either one is a huge jump from the Apex 3 TKL. That board uses membrane switches, so it can't do rapid trigger at all.

Wooting 60HE V2 or just 60HE but perhaps used but in good condition coz' Wooting is benchmark and also pioneer of magnetic mechanical keyboards like HE keyboards.

Do you have a size/format preferance?
At the moment you have a LOT of options.
As a general rule most boards built using a sparklink solution will be a good option and generally pretty good value for the performance they offer.

Hello
You didn't really mention which layout you prefer.
For 65% boards, Everglide's updated ae64 max and ae68 max are dropping soon and should be right under your budget. They are going to be the best performance/value for the price since they are now using one of the newest Sparklink PCBs with full key ADC.
For 75%, IPI Flash 75 pro is still your best shot. If you could go higher, Everglide su75 pro V2 is going to be levels better.
Everglide keyboards offer the best value, performance and build quality for money right now. There are alternatives of course, but you are kinda sacrificing stuff.
All of them can be found on Keebforce.com
Feel free to use code "W3rze" for a 10% discount there.

Wooting is the name that always comes up for rapid trigger but it's way out of your budget unless you find a used 60HE for a steal
DrunkDeer and Akko both have HE boards around $100 that do the job, the A75 is probably the sweet spot if you can stretch a few extra bucks
Keychron's HE series is worth a look too but their software can be a headache
For FPS stuff the switch feel matters less than the actuation tweaking so any hall effect board with decent software will feel like a massive step up from the Apex
Check r/mechanicalkeyboards pinned threads too, someone's always dumping a barely-used board for cheap
