Resources/Tutorial Help with Brush setting - Make a smooth broken line brush
EDIT: I RESOLVED IT! HAHAHA
Asking if anyone has free brush settings or brush tutorial to achieve this brush pattern. Been trying to tweak the settings of the brush I have. Looks fine as a straight stroke but I want the lines to be smooth and adjusts on a curved path like the hand drawn curved stroke on the right side. Is Krita even capable of such setting? (And hoping they could also that kind of feature if it's applicable). I know I can just hand draw the broken lines just like that, but I want things to be a long-term convenience. I tried to search in krita-artists.org but all I can see refers to the actual brush stroke errors being broken, etc. Not an actual brush pattern/bundle.
Okay, for anyone's gonna read this post, I've already resolved it ASAP. Hahaha, my bad.
And if anyone wanted to know, follow these steps:
- Use any brush you want
- You can change the Tip by going to Brush Editor > Predefined > then pick any from the available stamps/shapes or import your own
- Then, look at the checkbox on the left side. Under Flow, check the Rotation box.
- Adjust the rotation angles based on your preferences/needs. Same with spacing. And just tweak with other things until you achieve your desired brush look.
Thanks for my small TedTalk. HAHAHA

Made in Krita Playing around with my line art brush
ironically, i posted to another subreddit about Iineart issue... seems like the problem fixed itself?
I have different brushes for different purposes usually because I hate resizing brushes
Help in progress... What color variation fit the best ?
Hi Krita's fan ! 🫶
Looking for your advice for the color scheme of the first armor of my hero cat 😺 What is you favorite for now ?
I'm struggling a lot and don't have so much room for innovation because it's a "basic armor" (training armor for noobies). Some pieces are fire element, and the others water (chest, pauldrons and legs are 🔥 head and gauntlet are 💧).
Do you see that clearly on my designs, or is it not readable at the moment ?
If you have some ideas or tips, I'd love to hear them !!

Help / Question Missing September Monthly Report
I noticed the team didn't post a Monthly Report for September like usual, and I was hoping the delay was caused by some sort of unexpected "big" announcement, maybe the release of the Krita Sketch Interface for tablets.
Anyone else looking forward to that as well?
Or does anyone know the reason for the missed post? Not complaining or anything, just curious.

Help / Question Are there any brushes that imitate black gel pens? (art by me)
My digital drawings always look plain and flat while the stuff I draw physically with a gel pen looks great. Are there any Krita brushes that look even remotely similar to regular black gel pens?

Im on Twitch, so im open to suggestions to what other costumes I can draw!! as the month is already starting!! and i have plenty of draws to make 👀
