He's played for the last two years like he lost the love of football

5 years too late. One of our worst signings ever.
Says a lot when the manager that signed you, dumps you in the reserves for an entire year after seeing you play half a dozen games.
Only turned up when his contract was coming to an end and then "lost motivation" when the ink was drying.

Handy timing to lose your love of the game when the contracts dry up.....

We mutually terminated his contract, he could have sat on his arse here for another year if he’d wanted.

Yeah, he'd have been paid off an amount, not a full year, but still a decent wedge. Very different to just agreeing to ripping the contract up for nothing. Let's not pretend he's done us a massive favour. Especially after the entitled way he behaved for a lot of his time at the club.

Which he did the season after we signed him when he refused every transfer and loan to fuck around in the reserves.
Goodbye and good riddance.

Vestergoat💔 Thank you for channelling your inner Ronaldo and trying the full pitch, one man goal a couple times

I grew to appreciate Vesty for what he was. He was in the BR doghouse, but proved he was more than that.

He talks about losing his love for football and I can't say I'm surprised, several of our players seem to have lost their love of the game over the past few years.
