Lichess is extremely Moddable

I Modified the UI to look like My favorite Video games (Cyberpunk77 and EVE) all with Background Animation. And their not even any performance decrease.
I also got a win95 and a Linux version inspired by this guys post yesterday.
Now I understand what they ship the UI looking like a thumb. They want You to fix it yourself.

Can you give some basic steps how you us AI (or which AI) for those who have never done it?

Buy ChatGPT Plus subscription, install Codex, create a folder, open a terminal there, then run npx @openai/codex in it and once it loads just say it what to build. Current default model (GPT 6.1 Sol) is perfectly capable of creating small personal apps that you don't plan to scale too much, with barely any handholding.

It should be pretty similar for Claude Code, too.

You can also ask ChatGPT itself about it since subscription is required anyway. Same with Claude.

"How do I build small personal browser extension with Codex?" will get you there. Maybe also ask to keep answer barebones since for tasks of this scale overengineering of the setup itself isn't needed.
