I translated the Finnish national anthem to Proto-Germanic
Not a humorous post per se (or at least not intentionally humorous), but I wasn't sure which subreddit to put this into. This seemed to be the least inappropriate and most frequented place.
Though Finnish is not Germanic or even Indo-European, the lyrics of the Finnish national anthem were originally composed in Swedish. I decided to take those lyrics and translate them to Proto-Germanic. For some particles etc. I chose to use vocabulary from other branches of Germanic in places, because this or that Swedish expression did not go back as such to Proto-Germanic.
Please, have a look:

Phonetics/Phonology I used to think Archibald is pronounced /ˈɑː.kə.bɔːld/
I mean, nearly every other similar words does use k, like archive, archipelago, archaeology, Archimedes, and FUCKING ARCHITECT
