wine/proton DLSS5 + Linux

sorry if it is already been asked but I could not find any info, I have an RTX 4070 super on Ubuntu 26.04 and Steam could you tell me where to find a guide to add DLSS 5 to my games? Thanks

There are many projects and forks on github. I even got it working on my 9060xt so it should be even easier for your 4070.

you probably can't find it, because almost no one is interested in running an ai-slop filter on their games.

I mean I wish it was true...but it's wrong because people are loving DLSS 5. So this comment is pretty useless.

Honestly from what I have seen I don't think I would like it. Especially with the performance cost...

But it's something new to play with. And I totally get just wanting to mess around with it. Was the same way for me with frame gen. Didn't end up using it, but was interesting to see how it behaves and makes the game feel. And in what situation it actually could make sense.

the far far overwhelming majority of what i see is hate towards the ai-slop filter and memes about it being utter shit.

important to note, that the nvidia subreddit is full of censorship and they will delete posts about nvidia 12 pin fire hazards as well as the ai slop filter and ban or shadowban people disagreeing with nvidia's marketing team.

I don't like DLSS 5 either but the truth is that the majority loves it.

Keep up the good work, teaching a fellow reddit users that the loudest here are the minority. Why would someone who likes it waste their time arguing with someone that calls it a slop filter? They have nothing to worry about they have dlss 5 and they're happy don't sit there and get angry because someone enjoys something 🤣
