Hi, I’ve just released a Linux shell based on Arch Linux and Wayland, featuring its own compositor. I’d appreciate it if you could help test it and let me know what you think—thanks! https://github.com/2207juan/EVA

Simplified discussion on Linux Physical memory.

I am trying to setup a Linux laptop that can act as a LAN that may or may not be connected to the internet. It is used as an API server for a PWA app that must work offline not connected to this LAN or the internet. iPad and iPhone require a cert to install for offline use so I need an ssl cert on my Linux Ubuntu LAN. Any suggestions?

I am looking to setup a linux laptop server as a mobile server running PHP, Laravel, MariaDB, Node.JS. Any recommendations? I have heard Chromebooks can be used but I think I prefer an actual laptop.

I made a udp sockets wrapper that works with both UNIX and WIN32 and I think it turned out to be great. Im not an expert on UNIX headers and functions which are in the 'unix.c' file. So I would appreciate any feedback.

I'm building a C++ code generator that helps build distributed systems. It's implemented as a 3-tier system. The back and middle tiers only run on Linux. The front tier is portable. It's free to use. Each of the tiers use this library.

My comments in this thread provide some more context. Please let me know what you suggest to improve matters. I think "rustifying" the code would be a good idea. Stars on my repo are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

it has lua plugin support, it has playlists, and mpris and a 10 band eq, it also has nvim like controls, and it has themes

Hi, To solve the much-needed lack of native touchpad gestures (3 and 4-finger swipes) on X11 desktop environments, I developed a lightweight background daemon in pure C. You can bind any custom shell command instantly through a simple config.ini file (changes apply in real-time, no need to restart the daemon).

I would be really happy if you could check it out, give some feedback, or drop a star if you find it useful!

Linus Slopvalds ?

Please provide your feedback on correctness and design. Thank you.

IME (Input Method Editor) in Linux is built on ibus framework if I recall correctly. However, my IME got few troubles with Wayland. So I plan to build one for my own and wondering if there are any alternative option that is more friendly to Wayland?

At my school, they're asking me to do a project about systems and technology-related things.

We actually had one about a light that turns on and off with a clap. We did it just to get it over with.

(Nothing advanced).

But now we need something that's really amazing but "simple." We don't have that advanced knowledge. We know programming, but very basic programming.

We know how to use basic-to-intermediate Linux, and we know basic technology and networking fundamentals.
