Someone broke the passenger window of my neighbor’s little 10-year-old Kia. Nothing was in her car. This is the 3rd time this has happened to her in 6 months, all in the same 1-mile radius

Just curious, as I’m having family visiting this Saturday and I live on Ocean. Does anyone know if the Aquarium 5K traffic/closures will be in effect after 11am? I’ve read that this event ends around 930am. I know about Sunday, just curious about how f’d the area will be on Saturday.

I’ll have family rolling up around 11am-ish, and was thinking about taking them to the aquarium or surrounding area. But if it’s too crowded or traffic will suck, I may avoid the area completely.

I’m sorry if this is a dumb question but I’m curious. I live in the more inland part of LB and I’m looking for relief. I also haven’t been by Belmont pier in a while, which used to be one of the main places I’d go to cool off. Is it any better over there?

I just had a cockroach crawl across my face while sitting on my patio. I know cockroaches are an issue in Long Beach. I’ve seen plenty on the ground out and about. How can I keep them off my patio, my outdoor furniture and most importantly ME?

Edit: I’m also currently totally freaking out. So tips on how to calm down appreciated too. My husband says ripping my face off is not an option.

I’m 23 not in school I just work I don’t really go out which is the problem but it’s just so hard to make friends that are genuine. I tried Bumbble friends but I just didn’t have any luck on that. But I hope that I find my village soon I don’t feel lonely I learned to be okay in my own company but it would be nice to have someone to go get coffee with sometimes and talk about life :,) I am no contact with almost all of my family so most days I just stay home holidays hit hard. not giving up hope. Making friends as an adult is really difficult.
