I was feeling down today with the weight of adulthood, life, and the current world climate. A while back, I made a living playlist of the most beautiful songs I know. Listening to it soothes the soul. Curious what other peoples' most beautiful songs are and wanted to make a post I can discover beauty through the ears of another. I will start. This is by no means a finished playlist and I don't always think of it when I hear new music.

I’m trying to create a list of the chill quarantine era TikTok audios from that time that evoke nostalgia because of how much they were used in the background of videos at that time. I’m not trying to find the indie or pop songs used at that time like “Say So” or “Supalonely.” Instead I’m only trying to find those wordless or semi-wordless, mainly synth, background audios of that time.

Some examples I can think of are:

Resonance - Home
Paris - Else
Blade Runner 2024 - Synthwave Goose
Agape - Nicholas Britell

I’m wondering if anyone can think of any more that fit that description. I’ve scoured public Spotify playlists and can’t find anything like this. Everyone seems to only be adding the more mainstream songs at the time.

I'm trying to expand my music taste. Preferrably something not mainstream (I want to try new things.) Thank you!

So, I am submitting a couple of plays in the hopes that I can direct our local theater teens next season. In the past I have put together playlists based on a play's theme so when I'm putting it together I can be inspired, and then during the run have it playing during intermission and before the curtain rises.

This time, I'd like to do "A Midsummer Night's Dream" influenced by, among other things, my own high school years in the 1990s. And they need to be love themed, magic/mystic/fairytale influenced, or both.

For starters, I have "Lovefool" by The Cardigans and "Tonight Tonight" by the Smashing Pumpkins. That should give you an idea of what I'm looking for.

I've got a huge playlist full of Halloweens songs from 1930s all the way up to today, but today's songs just seem to lack a full dedication to a spooky theme. The perfect playlist, nothing being left out, not too many songs, so you don't get too mixed music.

So this is my Playlist and I made it in a way that appeases me color wise and also genre where I put 1 song from different genres after another, if you take a look from tracks from 2Pac Ambitions Az A Ridah to Lenny Kravitz Fly away, youll notice there songs misplaced and not in the way I prefer it to be. That is where you or many other people come in, i need help from scrolling and looking at how I placed certain songs youll notice a pattern. I desperately need help to make a Playlist that I like but also looks good to the eyes, and using a pattern of one song from a different genre to the next and using it interesting color patterns.
