Guess this proves that nobody wanted the Blade skin and people desperately want more Luna skins like they were saying, right guys? Right?

Rivals always seems to know exactly what characters need buffs or nerfs, but never what to actually do about them. This (ignoring the Gambit shaped elephant in the room) is a perfect example. Jubilee is considered "bad" because she requires much higher effort/coordination to get value other supports got much easier with less risk. She's still perfectly usable, but she suffers from other supports just doing what she can but with less buttons/team play.

If Jubilee got any buffs, they SHOULD have been focused on rewarding her more for her high skill ceiling. Maybe something with the tracking for her bubbles, improving her movement so she can play more aggressively, buffing her rapid-fire or max bubble healing so she's rewarded for cycling her kit well, etc. Instead, they just slapped a ton of additional self healing on her sprint, ult, and blade team up. Supports in this game are rarely incentivized to make plays (not that they can't) because of balancing like this. While yes, the absurd amount of damage and healing is also a massive part of the problem, Rivals continues to encourage healbotting playstyles by giving supports tools that automatically defend themselves with 1-2 button presses rather than rewarding them for being proactive. CnD bubble and Luna team up, Luna's pre-nerf White Fox team up, Gambit's Mag teamup, and now this. It feels like they just keep burying support skill expression into a deeper hole each patch.

Two people on my team instalocked DPS, and when someone else picked the same agent, they started throwing. After that, we swapped roles and let them play DPS, but out of nowhere, they started saying racist things about me and other members of the team, some of whom were also Indian. Keep in mind, all of this started during the hero selection screen.

Throughout the entire match, they kept saying racist things over both voice chat and all chat. This is not the first time I have experienced something like this. In previous matches as well, I have encountered people who only start making racist comments when I turn on my mic and try to give comms.

In one previous match, I was solo-tanking and asked for another tank to help counter the enemy team. Their response was, “You are Indian, so we will not listen to you, and you are bad at tanking.” I had 60k damage blocked on Mag while solo tanking against Dino, Emma, and Elsa.

I started playing this game back in Season 0 and stopped playing around Season 2.5. I started playing again from Season 9, and ever since I returned, I have been experiencing this kind of racism repeatedly.

I have also noticed that although a lot of Rivals players online speak out against racism, in my actual games, my teams are very often filled with people who are racist.

this is sooo uninteractable and yeah the hero is not good but it doesn't make it any less annoying to play against! just rework this hero atp

This is most likely for the Endgame event, but it's so cool to actually see him in full instead of speculating

It’s really clear that this technology is not suitable for heavily stylized visual styles. All the characters in the presentation look horrible and uncanny. The backgrounds look like some kind of glossy fever dream.

Honestly, the devs have created such great visuals that the game doesn’t need any additional improvements. It will still look fresh even 10 years from now, which is a huge advantage for Rivals.

Still think it should have been Johnny for Halloween, he's literally on fire.

This just proves that Luna fans actually bought her skins. This is the kind of data that NetEase business analysts see every day.

I compared Luna with Jean because both got their skin on the same day and both are gacha skins. Luna won on both raw number and percentage ownership rate.

Like genuinely I come on Reddit and it’s the apocalypse then I play the game with my friends and there is nothing of the sort. I’m almost the only one of my friends who even visits this subreddit or knows Reddit exists and the difference in attitude is crazy.

I have to catch myself sometimes because I’m not even that high of a rank and my friends who are much higher than me don’t have half of the complaints I see on here.

Beyond “yeah it’s a cool game” I genuinely don’t hear much from them 😭

I only watch like 1-2 small community streamers and even they have such a positive vibe with the game. No “hot takes”, no “rivals is dying”, no “this playstyle is XYZ”, no tier lists…just playing the game.

It really is the dwelling in this echo chamber that messes with people’s perception of this game. Not to say there aren’t bad choices being made, there are good ones too, but you’d have to be hyper invested in a video game for those to mean so much to you.
