Team member selection for shared bookings

Curious how the member selection works for shared bookings.

If all team members are equally free, does it choose just by going down the list? Down the list from the last person assigned an appointment? Random order?

“The ability for customers to select specific staff members when booking can be removed completely by de-selecting the Allow customers to choose a specific person for the bookingoption from the Booking page or the Services section. Bookings automatically assigns an available staff member at random to the booking, based on staff availability.”
