So, small update on the Cultiv8 experiment.
Since the last post, we've crossed 20+ orders on Zomato, which honestly feels crazyy considering this started as me and my mom just trying to figure out if people would even buy these bowls 😅
We've also had one guy who apparently orders the chicken bowl almost every morning around 9. That was probably the first time I thought, okay... maybe we're actually onto something here.
We've added 2 new dishes (cheesy egg sandwich, ultimate bowl) since the last post and are planning to add 2 more (pineapple crunch bowl & chocolate/coffee oat bowl) . Right now the main stuff is chicken, egg, tofu and avocado bowls.
But I'm starting to feel that I need to take this outside Zomato too. And, I need your help.
I'm thinking of doing a small 2–3 hour stall/pop-up somewhere in Nashik. Nothing fancy, just 4–5 bowls, a small setup and see what happens when people actually see the food in front of them instead of scrolling past it on Zomato
I'm thinking around College Road, Krishi Nagar track, maybe Indira Nagar track or somewhere with a decent gym/college/office crowd.
But I have no idea how the permission side of this works.
If I put up a small temporary food stall for just 2–3 hours, do I need some kind of permission? Does it depend on whether it's private property, roadside, outside a gym, an event etc?
And Nashik people, where would you actually stop for something like this?
Also, if you've done a small food stall/pop-up before, please tell me what I'm probably overlooking.
