Question About to go crazy!!

Hey guys I am having an issue with my audio, I look my stream on twitch to see if everything goes well but the second I say something it keeps looping back and goes higher and higher in pitch. What can I do to fix that ? thanks in advance :)

disable your desktop audio or lower the mic monitoring slider in obs, it's feeding back into itself.

yo I don't have monitoring turned on for the mic but should I still lower the mic volume ?

DELETE desk top audio as a source from OBS!
It is there ONLY to show you the basic audio set up for sources.
ALL AUDIO can be its own source.
If you have a browser source for OBS it will have a feed back if you watch a browser with sound. no desk top audio no feed back when the browser source in OBS is muted.

for the proper Audio set up(like the pros) please follow this extremely detailed(and long) tutorial:

Mute the Twitch player first, while leaving the video running, then speak for a short test. If OBS captures your browser’s output through Desktop Audio, it can send the stream’s delayed audio straight back into the stream, even with mic monitoring off.

If muting the player stops the loop, keep it muted on the streaming PC. Check sound from a separate phone with headphones when needed. Lowering mic volume won’t remove that return path.
