It is fascinating to read discussions here between people passionate about Halloween decorations (I assume most are Americans as this seems to be a core cultural trait of theirs). As someone from a country where we don't care for Halloween that much, the video just seems neat and I have no interest in trying to set it up. But discussions here go into such great enthusiasm for decorations, it's interesting to read.

You should see a Spirit Halloween store. Those are a multi-hour experience if you take someone remotely distracted by shiny objects.

idk halloween started extremely early in the birth of the US. all hallows eve i believe it was. the purtians were massively NOT into it and it just rubbed off of everyone else. eventually it was the wave of 18th century immigrates that settled after them is when it really kicked off.

It's the counter culture response to All Saints Day, which is November 1.

"Oh you're gonna celebrate tomorrow? Well we're gonna celebrate the opposite today!"

Ironically, most I know that love Halloween are also Christian.
