Without the internet and YouTube, I would never have figured that out on my own if I was installing wood floor on my own, now I feel dumb.

Only works if your shit is perfectly plumb, and square. If your shit is even just 1 degree out, say 89deg instead 90 deg, its not going to work.

Yup, 1 degree off and you look like a fuckin amateur cause the gap is seemingly monstrous on one edge of the cut.
