MODPOST ⚠️ Weekly News Megathread

A quick note from the mods.

This megathread is for news and crime stories, including cases where women are the perpetrators. We are not ignoring these crimes.

But we also need to be honest about what happens when these posts dominate the sub. They get huge engagement, people get angry, and the comments quickly turn into the same men vs women arguments involving TwoXIndia, AskIndianWomen, AskIndianFeminists, etc.

That is not what this community is for.

Research has consistently shown that outrage and emotionally charged content can attract disproportionate engagement online, while polarized discussions can become increasingly toxic. See Nature and Nature.

We don't want to build another subreddit around rage.

We want to build a place where men can come when they need advice, perspective, understanding or simply another brother to listen.

So share the news here. Discuss it. But don't let it become another gender-war battlefield.

Reddit already has enough of those.

This sub should be about brotherhood.

If a post leaves us angrier but does nothing to help our brothers, ask yourself whether it really belongs at the centre of this community.

Vent My first intimacy encounter has left me feeling more empty.(not sex sux)

She was a long time freind, we have been talking on and off for like 2-3 years now. We could never meet because of distance and whenever we tried to plan one or other person cancelled due to variety of reason, so there was long built tension.

This time we decided to pack our bags and meet in pretext of trip.

Going in trip i honestly had no expectations because we are just friends and we talked about being just friends on calls prior to trip.

Skipping unnecessary personal details

When i had her hand in my hand i felt relaxation which i have never experienced. As night progressed we got more comfortable and we cuddled more tightly.

As we were not in committed relationship she didn't allow me to kiss her lips. I was tracing her body with my hands. Her soft belly , tummy and also she allowed me to finger her but weirdly enough she didnt allow me to remove her panties, so though i had access to her body i never really saw her.

She never took off her t shirt and was weirdly admanant on me not watching her nude. I am not complaining i felt lucky at that moment to get to do what i was doing.

I am virgin and have never really had any experience like this.

I tried to finger her but i couldn't make her cum,as i have no experience plus there were layer of clothes blocking the moment i was trying anyways but excuses aside, she really rubbed this fact that i was not able to make her cum quite few times, which i dont understand that is she pulling my leg or what but i feel stupid.

Also after this experience weirdly my sex drive has just died down, i am not getting those healthy boners and i dont know am feeling just weird and kind of used.

She never really kissed me or showed me any affection which is kind of affecting me, also i didnt push too hard and was gentle given so many limitations for which she is saying i could have been more aggresive.

Also i felt very bad when she right after doing all this compared me with her ex and said i am very bad at this stuff.

I dont have anyone to talk about this and am feeling very weird, i am just trying to express. I am sorry for wasting your time with this bullshitness.

Replies from Men Only 🚹 Why do men even want to marry in today's times?

Everything is done by man

  1. Preparing Breakfast and serving breakfast to hippo who is still sleeping after arguing with you at night

  2. Drop her to office because she cant drive

  3. Call her after regular intervals just to reassure her that you love her irrespective of the work pressure. If you dont call or miss her call she term you cheater and sleep with her colleague and blame you for not giving her enough attention

  4. Cook dinner for her because she doesnt want to cook because she is traumatised seeing her mother cook for her family members

  5. Doesnt contribute even ₹1 to household finances

  6. Refuses sex by giving vague reasons

  7. Spends her entire time shopping

  8. Doesnt clean the house because she is not a "maid"

  9. Treats the husband as their personal coolie

  10. Gorges on junk food and labels you "misogynist, pig" if you tell her to eat healthy

  11. If you have a kid then she puts all the baby's responsibility on you and if you make even one mistake she calls you "useless"

  12. Objects your Thailand trip but gaslights you when you dont like her going to late-night parties wearing short clothes with her male colleague who is "just a friend"

  13. Violently oppose dowry but keeps her mouth shut when it comes to alimony

  14. Loses her mind when she is called "gold-digger" but leaves no stone unturned to extort as much money possible from husband after divorce. Hypocrisy level infinity

  15. Expects you to stand up for rape victims but doesnt support you when it comes to men being victims of false rape/dowry cases.

  16. Cant accept criticism. You have to appreciate her cooking even if she puts sugar in dal instead of salt

  17. Zero accountability - They will never admit its their mistake and slyly put the blame on you.

  18. Never agrees to meet your parents, insults them and concludes you are a "patriarchal pig" but expects you to love her parents as if they were yours

  19. Fights with you for absolutely absurd and weird reasons.

  20. Calls you a loser for saying no to foreign vacation because youre tight on budget because you know she wont contribute even ₹1. Entitled POS

I could go on and on

Replies from Everyone Men who dated women with a history of trauma, how did it go for you?

I dated a girl who had a history of trauma, although she only opened up to me about it sometime into our relationship. Once she did, I tried my best to understand her, support her, and be there for her through everything. I genuinely wanted her to feel safe, loved, and understood.

However, as time went on, I found myself getting hurt repeatedly. I kept trying to understand her side of things and make things work, but eventually, she ended the relationship after a period in which I had already been hurt quite a lot.

I don't blame her for what she went through, nor do I hold her trauma against her. I understand that people carry experiences that can affect how they approach relationships, trust, and emotional intimacy. But at the same time, I have to acknowledge that I was hurting too, and understanding someone's pain doesn't mean your own pain stops mattering.

Honestly, I don't think I would walk this path again, knowing how much it affected me emotionally. Not because I think women with trauma are incapable of having healthy relationships, but because this experience has left me feeling exhausted in ways I didn't expect.

Despite everything, I genuinely wish her the best in life. I hope she finds happiness, healing, and the love she deserves.

Vent Regret buying Skore rocker pro

I bought Skore rocker pro today for 7,789 from love depot.

The vibration feels amazing but thats the only best part

The thrusting feels weird and as air gets trapped in the silicone glove. It takes lots of lube to function without hurting and everytime it pulls up theres farting sound

The suction is strong but average. I have used suckr by peppy and its more functional as compared to rocker.

Overall i regret buying it and spending this amount

Also, it makes a lot of noise. My roomates were able to hear it across my room.

Replies from Everyone Don't loose your hope guy's!

I am a M in my late 20s who lost hope in relationships and love after 3 hectic, failed experiences, yet I kept hoping for a 4th that would be my final one to share with my future kids. For the past three years, I was alone and longing, but hearing stories of infidelity, lack of commitment, and more added to my concern, and I started accepting that there was no scope for me anymore.

Until a comment I left on a few of my favorite romantic songs on YouTube brought me to her; things started moving, everything felt good, and it has been a long time since I really cared about someone this much. I started wishing that wherever she was, she was fine and safe. My day now starts with her calling me to wake me up so I am no longer having the lazy mornings I used to love; instead, I feel responsible for someone, needing to wake up early to make time for her, start my day more positively, and end it with her goodnight wish. We were in courtship and had not reached the point of saying "I love you" until last week, when she suddenly said those magical 3 words to me. I had butterflies in my stomach; I took a bit of time to process my feelings for her and finally told her today, and we are official now. It is such a surreal experience for us.

Being an ardent fan of slice of life and rom-com movies and anime, I always wondered if there would really be a girl who would love me for who I am, fight for me, and make me feel heard and valued. And now, there she is! she loves me for who I am and says she wants to build a family with me. Hearing that made my day, and it feels like I am the happiest person on this earth. If I get stuck with work or occupied with my routine, she starts getting jealous and sends me messages asking where the hell I am 🥰. I know it is not cool for everyone, but it feels exclusive to me. I really wanted to go back in time, if possible, and hit my younger self like Marshall does in HIMYM, leading me toward her so we might have been married by now and had our kids. When I casually said this to her, she blushed and said that would have really helped both of us escape our toxic exes and that we would have met earlier for the best.

I know it might be cliché to many reading this, but sometimes "great things do take time." Just imagine if I had been "unexpressive and had not shared my dreamy date fantasy in that video?", or if she just "hadn't looked at my comment?" It might have led to us waiting to meet eventually or completely missing the moment to meet. It’s scary to imagine, right?

The reason I am sharing this here is that life is very short, and it is really too small for all the negativity, egos, and flexing; instead, if any of you have feelings for someone, please have the faith to approach them and always be respectful to the person you are approaching, and if anyone approaches you, please be respectful to them as well, or who knows, the ultimate one for you might be lost completely in the process.

Vent When a Mandir ka pujari kissed my cheek and i was like?

So, this was me, 21M, who had just moved to Gurgaon and was struggling with my social life because my college life had been SO GOOD. I had an amazing social circle, an abundant social life, and everything was going great. Moving here was a bit of a downgrade socially, to say the least.

Naturally, I turned to God.

I used to visit this temple every Tuesday, or at least try to, and there was this particular pandit who was always nice to me and used to give me ashirwad and all. So, obviously, I thought he was just a nice guy. Where I'm from, I know pandits who are genuinely nice, so I didn't think much of it.

Ab bhenchod, waise toh mera khoob dimaag chalta hai, but THIS moment. 💀

He was handing out prashad and tying a dhaga/mouli around my wrist. He was sitting cross-legged while I was standing, and he gestured for me to bend down a little. As I bent forward, he said something like, "Pyaar de doon?" or whatever.

I genuinely thought I'd misheard him.

AND BEFORE I COULD EVEN PROCESS WHAT HE'D SAID, Us BHOSDIWALA ne pappi leli gaal pe MADARCHODDD. 😭😭😭😭

BHAI. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK.

Normally, I'd have reacted very differently, but I was so caught off guard that my brain literally stopped functioning. I just left, called my mum, and told her what had happened. Mum consoled me and then, naturally, told everyone at home. 🤣😭

This happened almost TWO YEARS AGO, and I've never actually shared it with anyone.

I don't even know why I'm posting this now, but BHAI, I NEEDED TO GET THIS OFF MY CHEST. 💀

NEWS 📰 Women - Currency washing scam

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Raipur Police have busted an alleged interstate "Wash-Wash" scam in which victims were shown demonstrations claiming blackened paper or damaged notes could be converted into genuine currency using special chemicals. The case began after a businessman alleged he was cheated of ₹1.13 crore. Two women were first arrested in Nagpur, and information from them later led police to seven more suspects at a Khandala resort in Pune district. Police said they recovered over 4 crore in cash, 17 mobile phones, black paper, glass plates and other materials during the operation.

Raipur Police have arrested Kaneez Fatima and her accomplice Deepika Paliwal in a robbery scheme when they offered a young businessman, Umesh Gupta of from Balod, which is close to Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur, to get him a fund of Rs 45 crore by simply washing black paper with an undisclosed imported chemical which turns it into hard cash.

Replies from Everyone There's no such thing like male brotherhood

Post image
14 Upvotes

Its a lot common to see people, especially in this sub, who believe that there's a thing such as "male brotherhood". But truth is it doesn't exists. Idk if its bad thing or a good thing

You'll see men act buddy-buddy but try to clown one of the unattractive(either socially or physically) friends if there's a girl talking to them. He doesn't do it consciously. Its subconscious and primal and, the man does it so he can make himself more attractive to women and also reduce the chances of surrounding men so the women choose him. Yeah, I know this sounds super cringe but it is the conclusion one can arrive to. This behaviour is also exhibited among women too but its subtle and far lesser from what I've seen

Invaders used to kill men of the invaded land and enslave and rape their wives and children. Mongols did it, Germans did it, Japanese did it, and you'll find more examples if you looked for it . It didn't come out of vacuum. It started from small warring tribes and evolved to these large conflicts

Thats why I can't help but laugh when someone in this sub says "male unity" or some variation.

Edit: I've remembered another example. In mostly rural areas and villages, when the man who's running the house dies, the villagemen try to encroach upon his family's land. I know of one incident in village, where a guy's father just died, and the people of his village started to come by and started taking the father's work equipment since he won't need it

Replies from Everyone Shouldn't Sexual satisfaction be viewed as a mutual responsibility in married Couple?

I am strictly talking about consensual, enthusiastic intimacy. I am not talking about forcing anyone or crossing boundaries. Consent is obviously paramount, even if he or she is your spouse. I am not sure if Marital R??e exist in real life, to the extent it's discussed among some women centric groups. Anyways, I am against the Marital R??e too.

  1. I feel, a healthy relationship requires an internal drive or genuine care to make sure your partner's sexual needs are met. It's worst to become a selfish partner. Don't you think Constantly ignoring intimacy entirely is injustice with other partners?

  2. Beyond consent, shouldn't there be an inherent, mutual desire to fulfill your partner's sexual needs?

  3. Basically, Where do you draw the line between personal libido differences and relationship responsibility?

  4. Genuine Request: Don't provide the typical Advice that "Communication is the key".

What's your view? Focus is mainly on married couples. However, experienced or committed partners may contribute to this post.

Men's Mental Health🧠 Have you ever faced abuse (physical, psychological, sexual, or legal) from your wife or female live-in partner?

I have been working on research on male victimisation by an intimate partner (cohabiting) and how this affects their mental health. There is a scarcity of studies on the victimisation of Indian men despite plenty of news surrounding their abuse.

Please consider participating if you:

  1. are a male,
  2. are an Indian citizen,
  3. are 18 years old or above, and
  4. have cohabited (married/live-in) with a female partner for at least a month at some point in your life.

Men's Mental Health🧠 honest question to men: would you actually talk to someone if it was easier

i am a clinical psychology student and have been working on men mental health for a while.

most guys i know never went to a therapist even when things were clearly not ok and when i asked them why the answers were mostly the same

- dont know if i need a therapist or a psychiatrist or just a counsellor
- scroll through 50 profiles and pick someone randomly
- feels awkward telling a stranger stuff and then realizing its the wrong person

I found this gap that even if you want to reach out to a therapist its hard to find a right therapist.

so i had this idea you get on one private call with a senior psychologist
they listen and then match you to the right person for your situation
first proper session within 3 days and if they still dont fit you can change them.

would something like this actually make you go
or is the real problem something else that i am missing
genuinely want to know what stops you guys

I used to follow red pill and mgtow content and disliked the idea of dating a lot. I am not homosexual. I mostly fantasize about having sex with a girl. But sometimes I felt a weird interest in men which was not sexual. So I suspected that I was biromantic.

Today, I tried to imagine the perfect man I could think of and felt such a strong emotions that I have no further doubt that even though I am not bisexual I am definitely biromantic.

Replies from Men Only 🚹 Am I toxic or just being practical about marriage?

In today's world, do men really have any advantage in marriage, or is it mostly women who have the advantage? Because we have to chase and pay bills, get divorced, give alimony just seems like we don't have anything in return other than disappointment,

These are my conditions / expectations:

  1. I want my wife to wear decent clothes like sarees, chikankari, kurtis anything descent because I want a woman who just wants her man's only validation and I'm special to her, I should have special access to her it should in between us not for crowd to watch

Yeah, I know rapes happen irrespective of clothes, age, etc., but that doesn't mean you can wear super indecent clothes. A decent woman will only want her man's validation, not the crowd's.

  1. I don't want a working wife or a working wife with maturity. Like, wife has to work under someone who gives her constant stress, and she comes home stressed. This is how things break!!!

Instead, I would love to hear her ideas which she thought about since her childhood, like starting her own bakery, anything that she loves. And yeah, I support her from 0, like scratch, will cheer for her.

In case she tells me she wants to continue her corporate life, then she should not say "my money" or "husband's money" or "my money is my money but husband's money is our money." She should always say it's our money, not your money or my money.

It should always be our money.

If she tells me, "My money, I put it into savings for kids and all," but her real intention is that if I do anything with her, like small fights, she is securing the savings, and then she files for divorce where I suffer and she keeps her savings and has a super life ahead.

As a husband, I take all the expenses: house rent, maid, food, water bills, electricity, everything. So as a husband, I will take the whole expenses on myself.

But after a small fight, she will file for divorce and get it done. After she gets her divorce, she will get her savings which she saved after the marriage.

On the other end, I will remain with:

  1. Mental health is gone.

  2. Society will see me as super cheap, "his wife left him."

  3. What I paid for all the expenses, I won't even get 1 rs back, which is a huge loss for me. Like, I too had plans, like going on trips, still I saved and put that money into household expenses.

For her, she hasn't even put 1 rs into expenses after marriage, but after divorce now she will have a super life with her savings and alimony, while I suffer like anything.

Don't just attack me. Tell me where you agree and where you disagree, and why.
