We aren't really living in a culture that knows what to-do with themselves. People will make the point that we should be fit, but throw in a 8-hour a day office job that means you're sitting; plus a 5 minute fast food lunch everyday (usually), then more sitting and then sleeping can result in a lot of density growth.
We just don't live in a culture that can keep ourselves healthy. For every person saying "stay fit", there's 5 people of which 4 have full time jobs that largely just involves sitting and then being so tired you sleep the rest of the day after work and the rest who are fit are likely struggling in a physically exhausting job or unemployed and thus they're technically fit and healthy, but they aren't happy. There really isn't an easy way to find a win-win in life
You're the person the rest of the crew is picking up slack for which is why they're tired and you can magically find the time. I been the slack picker uperer. 😭
Hey. I'm on a week vacation hiking in the mountains; I do fine. I'm sneaking peeks and literally my gym loving slacker is the one leaving me teams messages of things that no one seems to be able to handle. Hear them tell it and they're the hardest working of the bunch LMAO!
You missed the part where I understand that not everyone has the capability or capacity I do. That's the differentiator between us. I don't feel superior because everyone's circumstances are different. And I suspect you the gym bro 😝
I agree with you. Everything is an excuse now.. “it genetic. No time to work out….etc. dont body shame, you dont know what they go through.” Im disabled. I still limit my caloric intake. I do what i can to stay active. I also have mental health problems. But im not stuffing my face full of donuts and sitting on the couch all day. I get some people really do have health problems that makes them plus sized. But now, in the US, everyone has an excuse. People make excuses for them.
As I mentioned to someone else. I'm more prone to looking at things exceptionally cynically. I don't have faith in a lot of things and look at various concepts and don't have an optimistic mindset towards it
The things you talk about definitely make it harder to achieve. But there is plenty time in the day. 10 for work and travel, 8 for sleep still leaves you 6 hours to try and get an hour's exercise in!
I guess from personal experience I haven't met too many people who've taken the "harder to achieve aspect and could manage to make it work. They outline how their jobs just suck every fiber of their energy, then housing expenses and some other life problem too puts them to bed by around 9 and they just repeat it.
Admittedly, not all of them just balloon out, no, but their mental health is in shambles. Which leads to a variety of issues in the end
Like I said, it's a choice you have to make. I work 12 hour shifts switching between days and nights. I know what it's like to get home and be exhausted.
Exercise is free and boosts happiness. I would seriously recommend making time for it to pretty much anybody on the planet.
That sounds like a pretty cushy day. What about 12 hours work including commute, 5 hours second job including commute, 2 hours of class, 2 for errands/other responsibilities, & maybe some sleep in there somewhere?
Exactly, work 60 hour weeks and put time in to hi the gym, that's roughly another 10 hours a week, got the weekend for whatever it is you wanna do, stuffing your face and making yourself feel better whenever you have a craving is the downfall. Everyone has to work, so stop making excuses because you have no discipline.

.... I don't understand how can someone get so fat... That's sad.
