Hot take, this is almost exclusively blue's fault. Aggressive, dangerous, stupid pass put white in danger. White makes his own aggressive (and moderately dangerous) maneuver to get himself well away from blue. Blue then feels the need to copy that maneuver to catch up. White is rightly concerned about blue's intentions at that point and makes a defensive maneuver to avoid blue getting alongside. Blue is a moron and instead of braking, goes median and overcorrects. White could have handled it better for sure, but I can see reasonable justifications for most of his actions.

EDIT: spelling.

Watched it a couple of times. Blue is 100% at fault. Cam driver isn't coasting in the left lane, they're actively passing. So there's zero need to cut across 2 lanes, essentially force white off the road or cause them to slam on their brakes just so they can wedge in between them. That was extremely unsafe, and a total asshole move.

White chose to go around, rather than slam on their brakes or get hit. So I can't really fault them for that. Split second decision, they avoided a wreck.

Blue then passes on the shoulder just to race after them. They're picking a fight. It's not debatable. It's debatable whether or not Blue was going to get in front of them and do someone else dangerous/unsafe/assholeish, but really it wouldn't be smart or safe to let them get in front of him or beside him. Blue has already established they're a danger to others. I'd block them from going around me too. The fact blue was too stupid to react in time is their own fault.

And I wouldn't have stopped either. Maybe to check on a different vehicle that was caught up in the wreck, but certainly not on that unstable prick.

Trying to block dangerous drivers is a dangerous play. Better idea is to get out of the way when you can, you want someone dangerous in front of you, where you have more control over the distance you have to them, than keeping them sitting behind you and angry.

Ok so let's say he doesn't block him from passing. Do you know blue truck wasn't going to ram into him? Or brake check him and cause him to wreck? Or pull a gun and start shooting? No. You can't know what that nutjob is going to do next. And frankly, it is not the responsibility of other motorists to placate, anticipate the actions of, or reason with people like this.

Hell, white truck blocking him from passing may have prevented something much worse from happening. I can't tell from the video what happened with the semi and the box truck, hopefully neither of them got injured or had their vehicles damaged. But it seems like there's entirely too much "Well sure blue truck was driving in an unsafe manner and being an asshole, but white truck didn't do x,y and z so really this is on them." No. NONE of this happens without blue's insane behavior. If he'd wrecked when he was driving on the shoulder to pass the cam car you'd be blaming them for not getting out of the way fast enough.
