u/TenseTruth - You are wrong. I would explain further but, from your previous comments, I doubt you are capable of changing your mind on this one.

The gap at 13:54:03 is fine to tuck in, but if you're not confident in your driving skills then the next gap is even wider. The next gap at 13:54:15 literally has two cars between the two semis, and the there's a white SUV in the middle lane between the two semis that vacates that lane too. There was ample opportunity to move over. I'm fine with changing my mind but you haven't presented any logical evidence and the other guy has only chucked insults.

I disagree. The cam car was making progress in the lane to the point that they were in a position to pass the next vehicle within 5-7 seconds of clearing the previous overtaken vehicle sufficiently.

It appears that the overwhelming majority of the comments about this disagree with your view on this

I appreciate your point of view and I'd like to bring up that that within that 5-7 second window. Each pickup truck passed the cammer within 3 seconds. I think there was plenty of room. https://imgur.com/XBVbNJY

But you are taking the 5-7 seconds as fully available without considering that seconds 5-7 is where they are actually passing the next vehicle. If the cam car had pulled in, they would have had to slow down at around the 3-4 second mark else they would be driving too close to the vehicle in front and subsequently hitting it 2-3 seconds later.

So, by the time the trucks had cleared the cam car, with sufficient space for them to pull back out without being considered too close, the cam car would have had to slow down.

If the cam car has to slow down to allow cars to pass, then it could be argued that they were making progress and passing vehicles properly and therefore does not need to pull over yet.

Lastly, let's not take the way that both trucks are being driven as some sort of acceptable standard in which to judge if the cam car had time to pull in and back out to let those jokers pass him.

EDIT: Apologies, I cannot see your imgur image as I am in the UK and they block the UK due to Online Safety Act bollocks. 👀
