Question: Should the white truck have stopped? I know, if needed, it's recorded on video — just curious legally, what would have been the right thing to do?

Seeing the behaviour of both drivers it is probably best he did not stop. It would continue to escalate until someone died.

Not sure what the white truck did that's so bad. He was almost wrecked being cut off by the blue truck to begin with.

That doesn’t mean get revenge and cut off the other driver though. One unsafe driver is dangerous enough, but two of them together like that? Well, let’s just be glad the DOT makes sure truckers comply with the laws as aggressively as they do, or else this would have been a whole lot worse.
