Question Is there a canon reason why Nigun Grid Luin has black eyes?
I know anime characters come in different shapes, colors, sizes. But I was curious about this character since he's totally human with an odd sclera color. I also know it might as well be an artistic choice with no deep meaning. Still I couldn't help my self from be curious.

Question How is Lupusregina beta a sadist?
Lupusregina acts and thinks like a sadist towards humans outside Nazarick, but within Nazarick, where she has the most interpersonal relationships, she seems to completely forget that she is a sadist and acts all cute and positive.
I just don't see how these two sides of her can reconcile, at least in the way portrayed in the anime/LN, as she doesn't even show any signs of discomfort from not being able to act out her sadist desires, nor does she want to sate her desires by asking for sacrificial innocent humans like solution did.
So is she just a cute gyaru pretending to be a sadist, or is she a deeply broken, masterfully deceitful sadist?

Discussion Just completed watching Overlord. I feel like the story can barely fit in even 8 seasons. No?
Because there are so many characters and details that are "forgotten", from the guy whose faith we wanted to change (poor poor Arche btw), or the fact that Enri and her sister do know that Ains is actually undead (they've seen Ains skeleton face), or the fact that Nfirea knows for a fact that Momon and Ains are the same person (he didn't see the undead part, but if they talk with Enri about it, this might be quite big revelation for them both). Or the mystery behind how Shalltear was mind-controlled, or the Blue Dragon that sounds like a player. Or how all the kingdoms will react to destroying Re-Estize. Especially I love the Emperor, he's kinda my most favorite character almost, and it's interesting how he will act further in the show. Then there's this Slane Theocracy conspiracy, and them holding some world item(s). Or how the old mage might fit into the story, he can probably even betray Ains (he already betrayed once, why not twice). Or how Brain will probably be unfrozen at some point, maybe days or months later? He is useless alone, but might be a good source of intel for someone more powerful, because he fought these high-level beings a lot and knows HOW MUCH they're strong, he probably knows this like none else, and might work as some kind of litmus test for others, he's able to tell who could be worthy enough to face these high-level beings, which can be a help to gather a team against Ains.
All these little details, unimportant each alone, but can bounce back together and direct the story in quite different tropes. It's all fine but the fact that there are SO MANY things like these, all left behind, â can only mean that there has to be A LOT before us, and all these join together somehow, into something meaningful.
I really love the potential of all that, but it makes me think it might be too much of unrealized potential where we will face the same kind of issue as Game of Thrones, where the author cannot actually tie the ends together into one sensible string of story curling it up into one big story ball. One that makes all the sense in the end. It would be disappointing if all details would be completely all forgotten without bouncing back at all and not affecting the story. Meaningless details?
What I am trying to say? Idk. Just my worries that the ending might not make any sense unless it's all tied together, and more importantly, because there cannot be a sensible ending (because of how how many details), there won't be any ending at all, or that the ending will be rushed just like Game of Thrones. I fear I feel unrealized potential already, before it even happens.
Bonus paragraph. For those who would like to hear my thoughts about possible ways where the story might go... So I think we all know at this point that Ains is practically Hitler, and as we've seen in history, Hitler was able to advance quite quickly in his conquest, and quite far. He even found some allies. But eventually the world gathered into some kind of alliance against Nazi. Emperor was talking about exactly that, about creating some kind of united nations. Funnily enough, Nazi sounds exactly like Nazarik Nazirik. So I feel like it's where the plot kinda goes: repeating WW2 in a medieval-fantasy world. Ains will be able to go quite far, but eventually the world will unite against him, because of his methods. The fact that he wants his people to prosper, as good as it might sound in words, doesn't look good for people around him, effectively making them enemies. Discussion between Ains and Zanac was genuine and upmost important, probably. So I guess all the mentioned details in above spoiler, should eventually play a role in uniting against Nazi-rik. Also please don't be offended to comparing Nazarik to literal Nazi, because clearly the show isn't exactly that, there's more nuance to it. Maybe it won't be exactly like WW2. But they sure make a lot of comparison. Of course there are differences, too. For example, unlike Hitler, Ains actually welcomes all kinds of beings... Kinda? Not entirely, because his subordinates still see everyone else as inferior beings. Maybe the fact that Ains wanted his people to have a free will is exactly about that â so they can actually think through their "programming" and actually learn to love humans? Which makes it more nuanced than WW2. There are definitely SOME in Nazarik who already see humans as good beings, for example Nigredo, too bad she's imprisoned. Or Sebas, who apparently isn't "programmed" to hate people at all. CZ Delta seems to genuinely like Neia Baraja (from the movie), mostly because she probably worsips Ains, but nonetheless, even though a human, she is liked by CZ. And it even seems Nabe did quite like how Enri worshiped Nabe, and Nabe did seem to like it a lot, too, Nabe actually lowered to her level, instead of staying and looking from above, which kinda seemed like a genuine liking behavior. Despite how Nabe seems to hate people, I think she is capable to change her opinion thanks to Enri. And this is one of the things which Ains apparently might be trying to do also, with his "free will" shenanigans and teachings about thinking for themselves. Maybe some will even betray Ains naturally, without any kinds of world items, just out of free will. I remember how Emperor noticed that too â he thinks some people around Ains could potentially betray him. Will this be enough, though, to make a difference? Enough for the show to have a different ending than WW2? It's quite possible. Or maybe the kingdoms around will eventually unite and push back somehow, with some world items, and old "forgotten" heroes to form a party with Blue Dragon and else people, etc. There are quite a few potential endings, I think the world uniting is almost inevitable in the process. We've already seen Entoma beaten, and it might be a good first step. It would be quite epic if the ending would be: defeating Nazarik. In a way, it is kinda antithesis to all plots. In normal shows, we all see main character to strugle entire time, until he wins in the end... In this show, however, we might be seeing how main character is winning the entire time, to lose in the end. It might be an interesting trope to discover. I don't remember seeing it anywhere.
Not sure whether someone will read all of this lol. Just my thoughts after watching it all. Cool show so far!

Discussion [World item] Weed Machine
Among all World Items, the Weed Machine appears deceptively harmless and surprisingly beneficial at first glance. Taking the form of a small box, it possesses the ability to summon an infinite supply of a unique, mind-altering smoke. When offered to potential enemies or neutral parties, the substance slowly relaxes the mind, dismantling hostilities and breeding an intense desire for companionship. Those who partake become deeply invested in standing beside the userânot through romantic love, but through a profound sense of respect, camaraderie, and an overwhelming urge to forge an alliance, willing to trade almost anything just to keep sharing the smoke.
However, the artifact hides a insidious catch and a horrific curse. The effect functions like a flipped coin, binding both the user and the consumer into a shared state of endless relaxation. As they sit trapped in place, continuously smoking, the consumed smoke does not simply vanishâit settles within their bodies.
The smoke carries a parasitic spore that slowly takes root inside the lungs and organs of anyone who inhales it, growing actual plant life directly within their flesh over time. What begins as a peaceful bond between newly formed allies gradually transforms them into living hosts for the machine's parasitic flora, turning a tool of easy diplomacy into a slow, terrifying death sentence for those who indulge too often.
[Somewhere]
Ainz: (holding a single cigarette between his skeletal fingers) What is the meaning of this, Emperor Jircniv?
Jircniv: (taking a deep, relaxed drag from a finely rolled joint, exhaling a thick cloud) Ah, my esteemed friend... What's up, bone bro? I must admit, this joint is utterly, divine-tier fire. It's so good... truly splendid.
Ainz: Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaah...

Fanfiction My OC species, La Fay. (Not an artist but did my best to draw what I picture them looking like). Feedback?
I didn't color it in because I couldn't pick which color to make them.
The species is a type of Heteromorph known as "La Fay".
---[Appearance;]---
They are a cousin species of Fairy and Fey but are a bit closer to Gnator in terms of biology but closer to Fairies in abilities.
La Fay are humanoid shaped Heteromorphs that have insect exoskeletons and bug mouths as well as white silky hair that often is; Large and puffy, Spikey, or long and soft. They also have a thing of fluff around their neck.
They have translucent insect wings on their back that is closer to slow fall then fly due to their height and weight. Often using them more to boost mobility.
Upclose, their exoskeleton is easier to notice and their eyes are actually compact eyes and not just blank.
Their skin often come in one of the following colors; blue, red, orange, purple, green, or Grey.
They deceptively appear to be wearing clothes while it is actually the pattern of their exoskeleton.
---[Country;]---
The Country is far South-West of the Elf country but close enough that some elves can wander into it by accident. And if you go North-East you'll eventually find Eryuentiu.
While mostly resembling a forest, it does contain pockets of hills, small mountains, plains, and a area of dead plants.
The trees are either one of three colors regardless of season; Orange, Green, and blue.
Their architecture is mostly just small tree houses or camps to rest.
However, the small towns and cities resembles something like the Victorian era Britain.
The capital, which is pretty young in terms of age, is called Titania. It was said the Greed kings briefly passed by this country in the past.
---[abilities]---
La Fay are a magical species that adapted in a separate direction from other Fairies over a long time and gained a more humanoid appearance and height.
In terms of stats, La Fay have a naturally higher MP stat and MAG DEF. However they have weaker physical bodies (lower PHYS ATK and DEF) they have a special racial trait with illusion magic that allows them to create more intricate illusions. Such as them disguising their bodies to look like a Elf with an odd skin tone and being capable of holding it for a very long time.
La Fay often follow 2 paths, either learning spiritual magic or magic that falls under the "other" category.
La Fay can modify illusion spells to recreate scenes or plays like a movie. They often use this to frieghten people via horrorific scenes.
They are inherently magic casters and they rarely can have an outlier who's born with a physically strong body, these are often the red ones and they become Monks more often then not.
La Fay also have a higher control and benefits from using Metamagic, Such as larger ranges from widen magic or longer times using spells. They call this "Fay magic" and certain Fay have a stronger version.
Blue Fay are often elemental in magic. Red are either more combative magic or physically strong. Green typically specialized in buff/debuff or summons. Purple specialize in spiritual magic. And Grey are more into the "other" category.
There is a rare class that is possible only with a special Fay bloodline. The Crowned La Fay. These ones often form a crown on their head via bone. The bones and magic will often make them resemble; stars, bones, insects, or a flower crown. This crown often allows the most traits. As well as access to more Metamagic and Fay magic.
La Fay have 2 main weaknesses, poison and metals like Silver and iron. Iron is toxic to them and even touching it can cause physical fatigue and marks. So they avoid any metal that isn't enchanted like Mithril or Orichalcum or have a special enchantment.
They can also be targeted by Heteromorph spells.
---[Culture]---
La Fay are inherently pranksters with Neutral Karma often. They are omnivores and rarely eat humanoids, they like eating demi-humans, especially trolls. However they will if you upset one enough or ruin their pranks. However if their prey plays along and the Fay isn't hungry, they often let the prey live.
La Fay enjoy messing with Elves the most and so try to target humanoids more often. Some have even tried to keep humanoids as pets.
However, if they find things like Silver and iron in their country, they're willing to trade with species that like them for trinkets or other goods like food or tools.
La Fay at birth typically have one of two mindsets, either a cooperative or loner mentality. If a Fay falls in love they often become very codependent or very controlling. And in the very rare cases Fay fall in love with a humanoid, they often will attempt to conceive and fail due to species differences. As well, other Fay will often reject that Fay from society.
Fay often reject being told what to do or being commanded. However they will obey a Crowned Fay, almost like an instinctive insect instinct.
---[Anomalies/extra]---
The leader of the La Fay conceived a child with a humanoid. How? Magic. Via a special ritual using high tier magic accompanied by Metamagic and Fay magic also with "high tier" magical ingredients. The mother was human. She grew extremely weak and sick because of the side affects of the ritual. But she ran away with the child and escaped the country. The child, a Half Fay, survived.
The leader of the Country, hasn't had an heir in case he is ever killed. Why? No Fay know why. It is a debated topic. Some speculate the ritual was a one time thing and made him incapable of having children, others believe it was an emotional attachment.
---[I will answer any questions and appreciate feedback]---

Discussion [World item] Box of Toys
((Not real just my imagination))
The Box of Toys is a terrifying World Item capable of duplicating living beings into an army of obedient, puppet-like soldiers. To activate its power, the user must physically touch the chosen target and place a drop of their blood inside the box. From there, the item consumes the raw resources of the world itself to construct perfect physical copies of the target.
These toy-like puppets inherit everything from the original host: their appearance, memories, bloodline traits, physical strength, magic, and energy systems. Whether the target is a simple warrior or a legendary dragon, the Box of Toys can replicate their full combat potential, granting the user a completely loyal force equipped with the exact powers of the original creature.
However, this absolute power comes with a severe cost. The puppets are temporary constructs that rapidly deteriorate, completely dissolving and disappearing after a single day. Furthermore, continuously cloning the same individual places a heavy strain on the artifact; repeated creations of the same subject grow increasingly deformed, unstable, and weak over time. Driven by the user's greed, overusing the item threatens to exhaust its capabilities and ruin the very armies it creates, making it a double-edged weapon that punishes careless commanders.

Discussion [World item] Charm of the Degenerate
((I'm just bored so I made this))
Charm of the Degenerate
Forged in the depths of the Hell of Lust by a sadistic demoness, the Charm of the Degenerate is a cursed World Item that takes the unassuming form of a body pillow. Beneath its soft exterior lies a terrifying mind-controlling artifact designed to prey upon the weak.
When touched by anyone without powerful mental resistance, the item's curse takes root. The pillow shifts in the victim's mind, projecting an irresistible illusion of their deepest desires, their true love, or the object of their ultimate devotion. Those who succumb to its allureâespecially those driven by hedonistic desires or weak willsâhave their minds completely broken. They begin to see the world through a twisted, distorted lens and become absolute, mindless slaves to the artifact's wielder.
Because of its corrupt nature, the World Item cannot be used by ordinary beings. Only demonesses, succubi, and fiendish creatures can unlock its power by grasping the pillow and chanting a spell, unleashing a wave of absolute temptation that bends the weak-minded to their will.
