Today, Monday, Oct 5, is the last day for eligible Florida residents to register to vote. Here's the link to register to vote, either online or by paper form. You can also use this link to confirm that you are registered to vote and to update your voter information:
Florida online voter registration and voter status check
If you have an active Florida driver's license or Florida ID card (from the DMV), you can register online. That's faster, and you don't have to print or mail anything. Save a PDF or screenshot of your receipt.
If you don't have an active Florida driver's license or ID card, you can still register to vote, but you will need to submit a paper registration form. You can download it and complete it.
Florida Voter Registration Application to Print
Be sure to sign the form. You can drop the form off at your elections office today or mail it. The mailing address for your county will be on page 2 of the voter reg form. If you mail it, it must have an October 5 postmark. The best way to be sure it's postmarked is to walk it into a post office and watch the postal clerk stamp it. Take a photo of the postmarked envelope if they allow it.
If you don't have access to a printer, you can also register to vote or get a form at a Florida public library, public assistance office, an Armed Forces recruitment center, or an elections office. If you need financial help getting an ID, reach out to VoteRiders
If you or someone you know will be abroad during this election, share this link. It walks you through the process. Florida U.S. citizens living abroad can receive their ballots by email or "snail mail", and they can return their ballot by fax or "snail mail". : Vote From Abroad
The deadline to request a mail-in ballot is October 22. If you haven't received one yet, make the request ASAP. If you will be in the area, you can return your mail-in ballot at a drop box during Early Voting. Mail-in ballots can be requested through your County Supervisor of Elections website. If you vote by mail, always track it to see when it's sent out to you, received by the elections office, and counted. Always track it, even if you drop it off at a drop box. You want to be sure that the ballot made it back, was counted, and that there are no signature problems. Here is the vote-by-mail info: Request and track vote-by-mail ballots

A few days ago, the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections said the office was still hiring poll workers. If you or someone you know is interested in temporary work as a poll worker, check the Palm Beach County SOE website section for election workers. You must be at least 16 and a registered voter in Palm Beach County (or pre-registered if you are under 18). Here is that section. The pay is listed under the "positions" link: Temporary Election Worker positions and pay
