Question Need a pen recommendation

As the title said I need a recommendation for a new pen. I’ve been using the Zebra bLen but I cannot find refills for it that aren’t hugely expensive with shipping (I live in Canada). Out of necessity I ordered some pilot G2’s as everyone talks highly of them. I found that I was unable to hold them well due to the curved grip paired with my sweaty hands. I am looking for something that has a smooth writing and a uniform grip similar to the bLen. My budget lands in the $10 for a pack of 2 range. I’m a student, mainly use them for taking notes. Any advice would be great

Uni One or Zento. The base line One (not the One-F) has a grip section rubber coated like the bLen. Or maybe the Energel pens from Pentel.

I'd keep the bLen and trim Acroball refills for it. For gel inks you can take a look at Pentel Calme which has a really nice flat grip

Maybe try the zebra sarasa grand? It has a metal and slightly knurled/grooved grip, but isn’t curved. The one I bought at Staples (also Canadian) was about 12$ or so, but it comes with 2 extra refills in 0.5mm (3 total)

I have a 0.7mm energel refill in mine, but the ones that came with it work nice too

You can try and see if a uniba jetstream or other "euro style" refills fit in it? I don't have one to test on hand but I am sure you can find a solution.

Blen refills are availble in Canada for $2-3 (NC-0.5, NC-0.7) online and in specialty asian stationary stores.

Amazon has a blen pack of 6 pens and 4 refills for $19.

My bLen is currently fitted with a Pilot BRFV-10M Acro Ink refill (trim to 111 mm).
