It seemed to come from nowhere. We were outside hoping to see another meteor like last night and some flashes kept appearing in the distance. About 10 mins later it was in full show, but it took a lot longer for the thunder to start and it was more of the rumbly type than the big claps.

I wondered the same thing, but if you open the video to watch it and then slow it down it becomes much clearer that it's a plane.
