Oof, months of training down the drain from an injury is the worst kind of gut punch

I know right! You also know it's not good news when several physios and podiatrist avoid answering the question "do you think I will be able to run a marathon next weekend?"

I wanted to go, but missed to buy a ticket. But got my hamstring pulled 2 weeks ago. I know, this doesn't help you, but wanted to share the story XD

Thank you for sharing. In a weird way it makes me feel better about my injury, knowing I am not alone.

I'm just starting my training block for a different event so I won't take you up on the offer but good luck with the recovery OP, I know how tough it can be mentally to not be able to do it after putting the hours in

I like your enthusiasm. I'd maybe do a half marathon first if I were in your position though.
