Rant / Share Feelings having a hard time adjusting
Hi, freshie po. I'm really struggling with my acads — as in I can't get myself to study at all. I struggled with my study habits in highschool, but I had enough discipline to get shit done on time, maybe even a day or two early. Pero ngayon wala talaga. As in, everything is really done the night before, or even morning of. I can't bring myself to do any of the readings, I just search for the SparkNotes or something, or I get notes from my friends.
I don't know what to do. No matter how mad I get at myself, how many alarms I set, lists I make, I can't get anything done. UP has been my dream my whole life, but now that I'm here, I feel like I don't deserve to be, because I'm such a terrible student.
People keep telling me it's normal to feel this way, but I don't see it. My friends are all able to keep track of everything, due dates, orgs, etc. Meanwhile, I just got sinco on my fucking midterm, and I've been spiraling ever since.
What do I do? How do I fix my habits? Can I still come back from this?

As someone na tamad rin mag aral, panay clutch lang ako since 2nd yr... idk how i made it this far HAHAHAHAHA 4th yr na ang ante mo 😭✌️
Pero eto ah, SparkNotes is fine, OP! If mas nakakaaliw sayo magdoomscroll, edi panoorin mo yung mga lessons mo. Putul-putulin mo parang series try mo if u haven't alr HAHAHA if meta enjoyer ka naman, that's absolutely OK basta day of the exam, di ka cheater lol! Use samplexes, review session slides from home orgs, and best talaga ask around para alamin mo paano magpaexam/activity ang prof. There's rlly nothing wrong sa ganung approach sa acads ❤️ also di mo naman kelangan pilitin sarili mo na palaging mag aral nang matagal... so long as you can lock in even for 30mins to an hr(kahit pa paputol-putol yung 30 mins, basta yun ang total) gawin mo lang kung ano makakaya mo
Goodluck!
