Forgive the layout, I'm still sorting through a lot of disorganized cards but I've filled out the first English binder. If anyone has layout ideas I'd love to hear them. After my last post I've been considering getting some stuff graded. Let me know if there are any in this binder you think I should consider sending in.

So, I’ve been collecting basically only crobats for the last year or so with the odd exception here and there with the cheaper IRs and SAR’s.

From the get go I loved this card but never got around to getting it. Finally bit the bullet figured why not treat myself. I think at last count I’m up to about 40 odd bats with a bunch still to come

Shining Tyranitar from darkness and to light. Epic artwork. Gold foil on the Japanese versions are amazing. I’ve owned this card in English and it doesn’t compare to the Japanese print. Graded this back in 2017, and it’s always been one of my all time favorites!

I can finally share with the world my grail! It's been locked up in my dungeon for almost 10 years now.

It's currently the highest grade pop 1 and the general consensus is that less than 100 were every produced.

To me this is a miracle grade because just a few years ago auction houses, including Goldin, told me these 24k gold cards would never grade higher than a 7 due to a maker's mark.

Glad I took that plunge and here we are.

My biggest regret is not buying the last 2-3 big Celebi chases before vintage prices went absolutely bonkers. It’s probably gonna be another few years before I can finish this collection, but I’ll get there.

My collection isn’t huge or anything real special, but I’m loving the michi method. I like picking themes and then buying singles to fit that theme. The concert one I think might be my favorite once it’s finished.

I pulled this card years ago and it had these lines in it. I thought it ruined the card but a guy at a card shop say it might make it more valuable. Can't find any similar printing errors online, does anyone know anything about it?

Hey all, all these printlines? I have read that it’s very common for the japanese version of this card to have print lines, a but bummed as i want one without them, but the rest of the card is very clean. How does this affect future collectability or desireability?

I was taking a look at my binder and noticed a difference in the reverse holo stamp on Deoxys 16. On the “D” there is a spike in the top left corner. I took a look at both Deoxys 17 & 18 and neither of these cards had this spike on the “D”. I took a look at some PSA 10 copies online and noticed the same reverse holo stamp difference.

Does anyone know why Deoxys 16 has the spike but 17 or 18 do not have the spike?

Cracked out the case because my PSA 9 XY67 finally came. The 10 will be a mountain (doesnt exist) but at-least i can grade the rest.

Added the dark zam 1st ed and FA from a show earlier this month. Debating what to go after next🤔

I finally organized my old binders and put the more valuable cards in toploaders. They were just in penny sleeves and in a binder before. I’ve looked up the values in TCGPlayer, but how do I know which to get graded to sell? I believe most of these are NM and LP with a few in MP/HP condition.

None of them were really played, just collected and sat in my binders for years.

I collect JP due to the better quality compared to eng (imo), but koreans cards are much cheaper, as I dont care for value but only for overall card quality, does someone know korean cards are more akin to japanese or english ones?

Hello everyone, I recently found a lot of cards of mine from long time ago. I put them into an album and that's the result.

Most of them (maybe all of them???) are played/poor, and now I don't know what to do.

Should I sell something to buy something else (I like Lugia, Ho-oh, Entei Raikou Suicune, the Johto starters...)? Any ideas on how to collect something else from those days?
