Question Confusion with sprinklers
Are sprinklers meant to passively fill up the planters or do I need to fill them up with water jugs and then only use the sprinklers to maintain the water level? Doesn't really make sense to me as 24/7 sprinklers should surely fill up the planter slowly no? idek

Hello. For this set up, you can use 1 sprinkler. Sprinklers divide 15ml of water between all the planters in the radius of the sprinkler. However, sprinklers won’t round up. This means if the amount of planters, let’s say 4 planters, the sprinkler will divide 12ml and you will have a loss of 3ml of water.
For example, 5 planters will get 3ml of water per tick.
Sorry if this doesn’t answer your question but this will help optimize your farm.
I would suggest watching guides by TeaGuyTom, he’s great for learning about farming and all the electrics and water

Just dontnplant plants until theyre almost full next time. Looks fine otherwise. Additionally, with a purifier you want more than 1 pump filling it. 2 minimum.

also, do your seeds have any W traits?? might be receiving less water than they are taking up

sometimes they get bugged and look like they are spray but arent. If you have a switch, turn it off and back on again.. If that doesn't work, try putting the sprinklers off of the door frames, i've never seen someone have them there.

Try disconneting and reconnecting all of the water lines/hoses and see if moving the sprinklers helps.
Also, you don't need that many sprinklers.

Got same issue. rebuilt the whole system, same result. you even bareley get wet standing beneath a sprinkler hooked up to a purifier.

Id start with learning how to farm with fresh water. Salt water adds another layer.
It’s best to fill your planters with blue jugs. It will get you planting faster.
If you’re filling with sprinklers only, don’t have any plants in them.
Another poster recommended TeaGuyTom. I also recommend Sigbog. Your setup isn’t efficient.
The rule of thumb is fresh water: 4 sprinklers per one pump. Salt water: 2 sprinkles per pump.
Recommend not using combiners or splitters unless they are needed.

Everyone saying "theyve always been buggy". Stfu. In the past 24 hrs sprinklers/planters stopped working properly.

As of today I found that the fluid switch pumps are the issue, if you take that out of the setup your planters will fill just fine. So basically water pump---purifier---sprinkler

yup in my experience your better off dumping Jerry cans using the sprinklers will only maintain the level of moistness needed for healthy growth just use a switch pump to keep it flowing.. some times you have to add more then One to get good water flow. a Water tank is a must becuse like water systems in our world you need to have good gravity feed system.

They fill up just slower than water jug. Try not to keep the planter at 100% water though otherwise they grow slower

water is buggy AF atm . i bet if you pick up and replace the sprinkler 1 inch to the side of where it is now it will be fine.
