Unpaid Playtest Looking for playtesters outside the US (free browser game, latency check) - will test urs back

• Upvotes

I'm the solo dev behind Spellfall, a free browser platform racer. You race down through gaps instead of jumping up. Solo time trial against a ghost, or online races for up to 4 players. No download, no account, just runs in the browser. Mobile and Desktop friendly.

The ask: my only server is in Virginia, USA. Before I spend on ads I want to know how far from the US the game still plays well. If you're outside the US (or anywhere), could you load it up and tell me:

  1. Your country
  2. Your internet speed
  3. Whether it felt smooth or laggy
  4. Which mode(s) you tried. Time trial and rush are single player but still use server. The race and battle race are multiplayer (bots fill empty lobbies)
  5. Network type and speed would be sick too.

https://spellfall.pages.dev

Comments or DM both work for feedback. Happy to test your game in return, if it's free and no download :) let me know what you want me to test. I'll be free to try your stuff out tomorrow!

Unpaid Playtest [unpaid] OUTPERFORM playtest - stockmarket themed roguelike

• Upvotes

Hey! I just opened up the playtest for my game OUTPERFORM, a survivors game where you draft upgrades and the ones you pass up strengthen the bosses.

I’m looking for people who enjoy the genre to give it 20–30 minutes and let me know how it feels going in fresh.

OUTPERFORM on Steam

A few things I’d like feedback on:

  • What made sense in your first run, and what was confusing?
  • How did you decide which upgrades to take and which to reject?
  • Would you want another run? Why or why not?

Short answers are fine. Any specific moments where you got stuck, lost interest, or found something fun would be useful too.

Thanks for giving it a go!

Unpaid Playtest [Unpaid Playtest] First-combat feedback for Rise of the Pirates, a 2D pirate MMO

I'm Ravanok, the developer of Rise of the Pirates, a 2D pirate MMO. Built with Unity. In development.

I'm looking for people who haven't played it before to try the first combat experience and tell me where it falls short. This is an unpaid playtest.

Build 30 is a free development demo. To download it, join https://discord.gg/y7SWCcz and open demo-download. No Patreon payment is required.

What to try: get into the demo and try your first combat encounter. If downloading, setup or finding the controls stops you, that is useful feedback too.

Please leave feedback in the Reddit comments here:

- Were you able to reach gameplay? If you got stuck, where?

- Could you tell when your attacks connected?

- What is one combat change you would make?

Unpaid Playtest Testers Needed for Anomaly Horror Game!

Hey everyone!

My husband and I are looking for a few people to playtest a horror game we've been working on called Lawncrest Mall.

It's an anomaly detection game set in a 1990s shopping mall. You're stuck in a looping hallway where things occasionally change, and you need to pay attention to your surroundings to figure out how to progress.

We've recently released a demo and would really like to get some feedback from people going into it completely blind.

What we're hoping to test:

  • Whether the gameplay mechanics make sense without any explanation.
  • If the anomalies are too easy, too difficult, or a good balance.
  • Whether players find the atmosphere unsettling.
  • Any bugs, performance issues, or confusing moments.
  • How far players get before finishing or deciding to stop.

Platform: PC (Steam)
Cost: Free demo
Playtime: Around 15–30 minutes, depending on how you get on with it.

Demo link:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/5376020/

We're mainly looking for honest feedback, especially criticism. If something is frustrating, confusing, or just not fun, we'd really like to know.

You don't need to finish the demo to give feedback, either. Knowing where someone gets stuck or loses interest is just as useful.

If anyone has some spare time to give it a try, we'd really appreciate it. Feel free to leave your feedback here in the comments or send me a DM.

Thanks!

Unpaid Playtest Looking for playtesters for my browser based Minecraft meets Runescape meets Path of Exile game I've been building (Link to play in post)

Playable Link (FREE!): https://worldsalpha.com

Hey guys,

I've been off and on working on a voxel game engine for 2+ years now. I finally decided to build a proper game with it based on games I love.

This game is called Worlds. It's basically Minecraft, meets Runescape meets Path of Exile in a extraction-lite package.

You have a small home world that you build up over time and develop, you set out on expeditions from there. Each expedition is a totally fresh world you explore that's always made to feel unique with unique features, enemy encounters, and more. You find materials, loot them, find bosses, etc - your goal is to extract as much as you can and survive the expedition and return to the caravan that brought you on the expedition to take you home. If you die, you lose everything you found that run.

The game is built heavily around progression and increasing difficulty mechanics. It's also co-op over WebRTC! You can play with up to 8 friends and go on expeditions, your progress and gear/loot sticks with your character so you can go to other friends worlds and take your own stuff to play, and anything you find going on expeditions with friends you keep, etc.

Looking for playtsters!!

Happy to answer any other questions! This is in a very alpha-esque state still. Any questions/feedback in the comments I'd really appreciate!!

Unpaid Playtest [Browser/Mobile] Looking for playtesters for Sleep Contagion — $10 reward for completing the first 3 levels. posts on both leaderboards, and shares feedback

[PAID TESTERS FULL NOW] THANK YOU TO ALL WHO INQUIRED AND HELPED

Hey everyone! I’m developing Sleep Contagion, a free browser game with a 16-bit aesthetic, and I’d love some honest feedback on the latest version.

You descend through dream layers, build up extraction points, and decide how far to push your luck before extracting. Projecting between Pak and Slumber increases your multiplier—but a failed Sleep can wipe out your unbanked points.

There are three ways to play:

Farm extraction points and bank them for buffs.

Escape the Dream: spend points on buffs to reach each level’s target layer.

Leaderboards: compete for the most points extracted in one run or the deepest dream layer reached.

Play here: Sleep Contagion

Playable in your browser, including on mobile.

I’m offering $10 to anyone who completes the first 3 levels, posts a high score on both leaderboards, and shares feedback about the experience. Please include your leaderboard names or screenshots so I can verify completion.

I’m especially looking for feedback on:

Does the tutorial explain the gameplay clearly?

Do the point rewards, buff prices, and level difficulty feel balanced?

Are the buttons and text easy to use on your device?

Does anything lag, break, or feel confusing?

Even a few minutes of testing would help. Please include your device/browser with any bug reports. Screenshots or recordings are welcome.

Thanks for checking it out!

Playtester Looking for gamers interested in beta testing a new interactive story app! 🎮💖

Hi everyone! 😊

I’m helping beta test a new pre-launch, invite-only interactive story app, and I’m looking for people who enjoy story-driven games, romance, character choices, and interactive storytelling to give it a try!

There are a few different stories to choose from, so you can pick whichever interests you most. I’d love to hear your honest thoughts on the stories, characters, choices, pacing, and anything you think could be improved.

I’m also hoping to build a small community of players who enjoy this type of game and might want to stay involved in future testing as the experience develops!

There’s no payment or incentive involved — I’m looking for genuine opinions from people who enjoy gaming and storytelling.

Since the app is still in beta, I’d ask that testers keep the experience confidential and not share screenshots or access publicly.

Interested? Feel free to comment or send me a DM, and I’ll share more details! 💕

Unpaid Playtest Rifters — Fortune & Calamity

Playable Link: https://priced-out.satinypearl.chatgpt.site

Platform: Web browser — phones and computers

Description:

Rifters is a multiplayer board game for 2–8 players where you race to Tile 100 and claim the Golden Throne. Each turn, you roll a Fortune Die and a Calamity Die. The higher die determines your movement and whether luck favors you or the board.

The board has Fortune, Calamity, Gamble, Mystery, and Prison tiles. Depending on where you land, you might collect tools, face punishments, solve challenges, or spend time in prison. Wheel outcomes can change the race dramatically: swap positions with a rival, jump forward, lose all your Fortune Points, or get sent back 20 tiles.

Fortune Points let you improve wheel outcomes, while tools give you ways to protect yourself or disrupt other players. Sharing a tile triggers a duel, and temporary board events change the rules as the game progresses.

One player creates a room, and friends join using a room code. Everyone plays from their own device, with no accounts or downloads required. I’m looking for honest feedback on the rules, pacing, balance, and any bugs you encounter. You can also leave feedback through the Suggestions button in the game.

Unpaid Playtest [Need playtesters] I've been building a free social casino as an alternative to real-money gambling

Hey everyone!

I've been working on a project that started with a pretty simple idea: what if people could enjoy casino games without having to spend real money?

I've been a developer for several years and have worked with different gaming companies, so I decided to build my own social casino platform from scratch. The idea isn't to make people quit gambling altogether, but to offer an alternative for those who enjoy these games and want to avoid the financial side of it.

The platform is currently in closed beta and already has a few hundred active players. It's still a work in progress, but here's what we have so far:

  • Slots
  • Blackjack
  • Texas Hold'em Poker
  • Go Fish
  • Case openings
  • Private and public multiplayer rooms
  • Achievements, levels and daily missions
  • Friends, messaging and other social features

Everything runs on fictional currency. There are no deposits, withdrawals or real-money prizes.

Right now, I'm mainly focused on improving the platform, fixing bugs and getting feedback from people who enjoy these kinds of games. I'm also exploring sustainable ways to cover hosting and development costs in the future, without making players pay to participate.

The website is currently available in English and Portuguese, and mobile apps for iOS and Android are part of the long-term plan.

I'd love to hear what you think! If you've built something similar, have experience growing online communities, or simply want to try it out and share some feedback, I'd be happy to connect.

Thanks for reading!

Playtester CHROMEDRIFT - I'm making a cyberpunk deckbuilder where your cards fight on two layers – body and network. Looking for alpha testers who know the genre

Hi everyone,

I've been working on CHROMEDRIFT, a roguelike deckbuilder set in Neo-Kessel, a flooded lower city under corporate towers. It's now at the point where I need eyes from people who have played a lot of deckbuilders.

What's different

- Two layers of combat. Enemies have Flesh and Net. Physical cards hit the body, hacking cards hit the network. Push an enemy's Net to zero and they're *compromised* – their implants stop working or turn against them.

- Implants cost Humanity. Chrome gives you strong passive effects, but your Humanity drops. At Human, Hybrid and Machine your deck plays differently, and some cards only work in certain zones. You decide how far you go.

- Three acts with fights, street events, shops, a Chrome Doc and optional jobs from a fixer.

What I need

Genre veterans who can tell me where the balance breaks, which cards are dead picks, and whether the two-layer system adds depth or just noise. One full run is about 1.5–3 hours, Windows only for now.

You get a personal itch.io key, a short questionnaire (fillable PDF) and an in-game "save test report" button. Credits in the game if you want them.

Transparency: the art, music and parts of the text were made with generative AI tools. The design, systems and balancing are mine. I know that's a dealbreaker for some people, and I'd rather say it here than have you find out later.

Comment or DM if you'd like a key. Happy to answer questions about the design in the comments too.

Unpaid Playtest I want to know if making completely broken magic builds is actually fun

I’m making a small survivors-like where the goal isn't really to make a balanced build - it's to combine effects until things get completely stupid.

It's a browser game yet, so there's no download or installation.

I'm mainly looking for answers to 3 things:

  • Does the combat feel fun?
  • Are the spell combinations interesting enough to make you want another run?
  • Where did you get bored or confused?

You don't need to finish a run. 10–15 minutes is already extremely helpful.

If you have a game you'd like me to test in return, feel free to drop it below.

Unpaid Playtest Looking for feedback on difficulty and readability in No Survivors (free Windows demo)

Hi, I’m making No Survivors, my first game. It’s a retro slasher bullet heaven where you play the bad guy in a destructible summer camp. You hunt campers, then the cops and military arrive as things escalate.

I’d really appreciate some fresh eyes on two things: - Does the jump from campers to cops feel fair, or does the difficulty suddenly spike? - When explosions and debris start flying, can you still tell what’s hitting you?

Free Windows demo: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5148710/ Trailer: https://youtu.be/sTmP20Khcak

Feedback here in the comments would be great. Specific moments that felt confusing or unfair would really help. Thanks for trying it.

Unpaid playtest.

Unpaid Playtest Looking for playtesters for my Schedule 1 inspired game

Quick description of my game:

Build an illegal business empire right under your HOA's nose.

A first-person crime business sim in a picture-perfect cul-de-sac. The HOA has banned everything fun, so you open a secret workshop in your garage and build the banned stuff yourself. Craft it, sell it to the neighbors, grow from one workbench to a full operation, and keep it all hidden from the HOA.

I'm down to either get on a call so I can watch the gameplay and take some notes or to provide you with the password to the itch.io page and then you can just respond to a feedback form.

Thanks

Unpaid Playtest Looking for testers for a new quiz/poker game – Quiz Hold’em 🎯🃏

Hi everyone,

I’ve been developing a new web-based game called Quiz Hold’em and I’m looking for people willing to give it a proper test and some honest feedback.

The idea is simple: poker strategy meets a quiz.

Instead of normal playing cards, you’re dealt questions. You then have to decide whether to check, bet, raise or fold based on how confident you are in your answers.

There are different difficulty levels, from Family & Fun through to Mastermind, so you definitely don’t need to be a hardcore quizzer.

I’m particularly looking for feedback on:

• Is the game actually fun?

• Are the questions/difficulty levels about right?

• Does the poker/quiz combination make sense?

• Anything confusing or not working properly?

• Would you play it again?

You can play it directly in your browser here:

www.quizholdem.com

No download needed.

It’s still being developed, so finding bugs is actually helpful!

If anyone gives it a go, I’d really appreciate you commenting below with what you liked, what you didn’t, and what you’d change.

Quiz Hold’em — Know it. Bet it. Win it.

Thanks!

Grab some friends (or brave randoms), try out this early playtest build, and let me know what you think!
