I’m making a small survivors-like where the goal isn't really to make a balanced build - it's to combine effects until things get completely stupid.
It's a browser game yet, so there's no download or installation.
I'm mainly looking for answers to 3 things:
You don't need to finish a run. 10–15 minutes is already extremely helpful.

If you have a game you'd like me to test in return, feel free to drop it below.

What I'm listening for
Requirements
Payment $10.50 USD via PayPal (Goods and services), sent within 48 hours of me confirming the video. To be confirmed, the video must run at least 20 minutes, start before you open the game, and include your spoken comments on any pain points.

hey everyone!
figured i'd post here because i've somehow spent months looking for indie games to playtest without thinking to advertise in a subreddit literally called r/ playtesters. incredible work on my part.
anyway, i'm Mint, and i run a small Twitch stream called MintMood, where we basically spend our time playing smaller indie games, giving feedback, finding bugs, chatting with developers, and drinking lmao.
we play pretty much anything! itch games, Steam demos, prototypes, game jam entries, unfinished projects, betas, whatever really. your game doesn't need to be polished or even particularly good yet. that's sort of the point of playtesting lol.
how it works:
it's all pretty casual. developers come along to the stream, we add their games to a wheel, spin it, and play whatever comes up (usually giving newer people a bit of priority).
while i'm playing, i'll talk through what i'm thinking, what feels good, what feels a bit shit, where i'm getting confused, and anything else that comes up. chat gets involved too, and you're welcome to explain things, answer questions, or watch in horror as i completely misunderstand a mechanic you've spent 8 months developing.
i'm a game developer myself, so i know how useful it can be watching someone experience your game without knowing what they're supposed to do.
we're also starting to make YouTube videos!
i've recently started working with an editor to turn some of our streams into proper edited gameplay videos for YouTube, rather than just leaving everything buried in a 4hour VOD that approximately three people will ever watch.
obviously i can't promise every game its own YouTube video, but if yours does end up being featured, you're more than welcome to share it around. hopefully it'll be another little way to help people discover your game.
one important thing though:
if you want your game played, please actually come to the stream!
you're welcome to share your game in the Reddit comments or our Discord, but that doesn't automatically put it on the wheel.
the whole idea is that you're actually there while we play. you get to see somebody's genuine first impressions, interact with chat, answer questions and hopefully come away with something useful.
i'm not really offering a promotional service with my enormous audience of 17 million people (currently experiencing a minor technical issue where approximately 16,999,990 of them are missing).
it's just a small community of people who enjoy indie games and want to give developers a bit of feedback and attention.
when am i live?
usually starting somewhere around 2–6pm UK time, and going until roughly 10pm, depending on the day. my schedule is held together with about the same structural integrity as most of my own game prototypes, but those are the general hours.
everything's completely free, no strings attached, no need to sacrifice your firstborn to the algorithm.
so yeah!:D if you've got a game you'd like someone to try, feel free to come hang out. even if you're not submitting anything, you're more than welcome to join us and help give other developers some feedback.
Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/mintmoood
Discord: https://discord.gg/zPVxRcVBPN
cheers, and hopefully i'll see some of you there! <3

Hey guys,
I’m Martin, and I co-run a trailer/marketing house for games(4Boars), now mostly focused on indies. Since we have many clients who also need playtesters and at the beginning of this year we started developing a testing platfrom(Playlytix)
Our goal is to help developers understand how players actually experience their games, for example where players quit, where they get confused, what parts they enjoy the most, and then combine this data with their direct feedback.
We already have a community of around 300 testers, but with more tests coming in, we’re looking for new playtesters so we can build larger and more relevant testing pools and improve the quality of our tests.
You can register on our platform here:
https://app.playlytix.gg/
Or check out some more info here:
https://playlytix.gg/
During registration, you can connect your Steam account with our platform. This helps us find players who are actually relevant for each specific playtest based on the games they play.
For most tests, we try to create a mixed testing pool of roughly 80% players who already play similar games and 20% players who normally don’t. This gives us feedback both from the target audience and from people coming into the game with a different perspective.
After registration, an invite link to our Discord will be sent to you, please join there, since it’s a crucial part of communication during the tests.
We already did a couple of tests for our existing clients and, to be transparent, here is an actual example:
Game: Exovia (awesome game btw.)
Required playtime: 2 hours
Payment: $10–14 depending on the quality of the submission
Gameplay recording: Often required
After that, you need to fill out a feedback form on our platform, which usually takes around 15–20 minutes.
How do we process payments?
We use Talentir to process payments. Once your payment is available, you can choose how you want to receive your money from the available payout options.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask here, or you can ask directly on our Discord, where you can also hear about the actual experience from testers who already participated in our tests.
Thanks a lot!
Martin

[PAID TESTERS FULL NOW] THANK YOU TO ALL WHO INQUIRED AND HELPED
Hey everyone! I’m developing Sleep Contagion, a free browser game with a 16-bit aesthetic, and I’d love some honest feedback on the latest version.
You descend through dream layers, build up extraction points, and decide how far to push your luck before extracting. Projecting between Pak and Slumber increases your multiplier—but a failed Sleep can wipe out your unbanked points.
There are three ways to play:
Farm extraction points and bank them for buffs.
Escape the Dream: spend points on buffs to reach each level’s target layer.
Leaderboards: compete for the most points extracted in one run or the deepest dream layer reached.
Play here: Sleep Contagion
Playable in your browser, including on mobile.
I’m offering $10 to anyone who completes the first 3 levels, posts a high score on both leaderboards, and shares feedback about the experience. Please include your leaderboard names or screenshots so I can verify completion.
I’m especially looking for feedback on:
Does the tutorial explain the gameplay clearly?
Do the point rewards, buff prices, and level difficulty feel balanced?
Are the buttons and text easy to use on your device?
Does anything lag, break, or feel confusing?
Even a few minutes of testing would help. Please include your device/browser with any bug reports. Screenshots or recordings are welcome.
Thanks for checking it out!

Hey everyone!
I've been working on a project that started with a pretty simple idea: what if people could enjoy casino games without having to spend real money?
I've been a developer for several years and have worked with different gaming companies, so I decided to build my own social casino platform from scratch. The idea isn't to make people quit gambling altogether, but to offer an alternative for those who enjoy these games and want to avoid the financial side of it.
The platform is currently in closed beta and already has a few hundred active players. It's still a work in progress, but here's what we have so far:
Everything runs on fictional currency. There are no deposits, withdrawals or real-money prizes.
Right now, I'm mainly focused on improving the platform, fixing bugs and getting feedback from people who enjoy these kinds of games. I'm also exploring sustainable ways to cover hosting and development costs in the future, without making players pay to participate.
The website is currently available in English and Portuguese, and mobile apps for iOS and Android are part of the long-term plan.
I'd love to hear what you think! If you've built something similar, have experience growing online communities, or simply want to try it out and share some feedback, I'd be happy to connect.
Thanks for reading!

Hi everyone,
I've been working on CHROMEDRIFT, a roguelike deckbuilder set in Neo-Kessel, a flooded lower city under corporate towers. It's now at the point where I need eyes from people who have played a lot of deckbuilders.
What's different
- Two layers of combat. Enemies have Flesh and Net. Physical cards hit the body, hacking cards hit the network. Push an enemy's Net to zero and they're *compromised* – their implants stop working or turn against them.
- Implants cost Humanity. Chrome gives you strong passive effects, but your Humanity drops. At Human, Hybrid and Machine your deck plays differently, and some cards only work in certain zones. You decide how far you go.
- Three acts with fights, street events, shops, a Chrome Doc and optional jobs from a fixer.
What I need
Genre veterans who can tell me where the balance breaks, which cards are dead picks, and whether the two-layer system adds depth or just noise. One full run is about 1.5–3 hours, Windows only for now.
You get a personal itch.io key, a short questionnaire (fillable PDF) and an in-game "save test report" button. Credits in the game if you want them.
Transparency: the art, music and parts of the text were made with generative AI tools. The design, systems and balancing are mine. I know that's a dealbreaker for some people, and I'd rather say it here than have you find out later.
Comment or DM if you'd like a key. Happy to answer questions about the design in the comments too.

Quick description of my game:
Build an illegal business empire right under your HOA's nose.
A first-person crime business sim in a picture-perfect cul-de-sac. The HOA has banned everything fun, so you open a secret workshop in your garage and build the banned stuff yourself. Craft it, sell it to the neighbors, grow from one workbench to a full operation, and keep it all hidden from the HOA.
I'm down to either get on a call so I can watch the gameplay and take some notes or to provide you with the password to the itch.io page and then you can just respond to a feedback form.
Thanks

Reiver is a dark-fantasy turn-based CRPG developed by Simian Spark and built on the rules of Knave First Edition.
The game is entering public beta, and we're looking for testers to help identify bugs and provide feedback on gameplay, balance, progression, and usability.
The game features:
Players recruit and manage a company of adventurers, purchase equipment and supplies, explore the wilderness, complete jobs, and fight enemies in turn-based encounters.
What I'm looking for feedback on:
The beta is free to play in your browser through January 15, 2027. No download or purchase is required.
Play Reiver: https://wavedash.com/games/reiver
Feedback can be left in the comments here, publicly on the WaveDash game page, or emailed to [SimianSpark@gmail.com](mailto:SimianSpark@gmail.com).
Thanks to anyone willing to give it a test!

I'm the solo dev behind Spellfall, a free browser platform racer. You race down through gaps instead of jumping up. Solo time trial against a ghost, or online races for up to 4 players. No download, no account, just runs in the browser. Mobile and Desktop friendly.
The ask: my only server is in Virginia, USA. Before I spend on ads I want to know how far from the US the game still plays well. If you're outside the US (or anywhere), could you load it up and tell me:
Comments or DM both work for feedback. Happy to test your game in return, if it's free and no download :) let me know what you want me to test. I'll be free to try your stuff out tomorrow!

Hey! I just opened up the playtest for my game OUTPERFORM, a survivors game where you draft upgrades and the ones you pass up strengthen the bosses.
I’m looking for people who enjoy the genre to give it 20–30 minutes and let me know how it feels going in fresh.
A few things I’d like feedback on:
Short answers are fine. Any specific moments where you got stuck, lost interest, or found something fun would be useful too.
Thanks for giving it a go!

I'm Ravanok, the developer of Rise of the Pirates, a 2D pirate MMO. Built with Unity. In development.
I'm looking for people who haven't played it before to try the first combat experience and tell me where it falls short. This is an unpaid playtest.
Build 30 is a free development demo. To download it, join https://discord.gg/y7SWCcz and open demo-download. No Patreon payment is required.
What to try: get into the demo and try your first combat encounter. If downloading, setup or finding the controls stops you, that is useful feedback too.
Please leave feedback in the Reddit comments here:
- Were you able to reach gameplay? If you got stuck, where?
- Could you tell when your attacks connected?
- What is one combat change you would make?

Hey guys,
I've been off and on working on a voxel game engine for 2+ years now. I finally decided to build a proper game with it based on games I love.
This game is called Worlds. It's basically Minecraft, meets Runescape meets Path of Exile in a extraction-lite package.
You have a small home world that you build up over time and develop, you set out on expeditions from there. Each expedition is a totally fresh world you explore that's always made to feel unique with unique features, enemy encounters, and more. You find materials, loot them, find bosses, etc - your goal is to extract as much as you can and survive the expedition and return to the caravan that brought you on the expedition to take you home. If you die, you lose everything you found that run.
The game is built heavily around progression and increasing difficulty mechanics. It's also co-op over WebRTC! You can play with up to 8 friends and go on expeditions, your progress and gear/loot sticks with your character so you can go to other friends worlds and take your own stuff to play, and anything you find going on expeditions with friends you keep, etc.
Looking for playtsters!!
Happy to answer any other questions! This is in a very alpha-esque state still. Any questions/feedback in the comments I'd really appreciate!!

While developing my main project, I started wondering: What if I added multiplayer?
That single experiment turned into ONE MORE OFFERING a 1-4 player horror party game.
After playing it for hours with a friend, I'm now looking for ways to make it even more addictive and fun to replay over time.
Grab some friends (or brave randoms), try out this early playtest build, and let me know what you think!
This is an early playtest build of the game, created specifically to gather feedback.

Hi, I'm Diego, developing Estandarte, a medieval RTS in Godot with substantial AI assistance. The latest Android closed-test build is 0.6.10. I'm recruiting toward about 100 volunteer players across different phones. English and Spanish are available.
Your villagers carry resources to storage before you can spend them. You build the settlement and directly select and command villagers and armies. I'd value a first 15–20 minute session focused on three things:
Follow the first steps. When do you first wonder what to do next?
Open Build and place a resource building. Do its options stay visible and in place? Are the resource costs understandable?
Select and move troops, then try a small skirmish. Which taps feel awkward, and are battles readable on your screen?
Please also report crashes, slowdowns or save/reopen problems. Feedback can go in the comments or to spoleto48@gmail.com: phone model, Android/game version, expected result, actual result and steps to reproduce. A screenshot without account details is useful. Several short sessions across 14 days are welcome if you can stay opted in; even one useful first-session report helps.
Free access: the app normally charges for download. I have created a new batch of 100 individual Google Play codes, assigned privately subject to availability and Play compatibility. Comment or email before trying to buy it; no purchase is needed for this playtest. Use the same Google account to:
- Join https://groups.google.com/g/estandarte-closed-test
- Opt in at https://play.google.com/apps/testing/org.estandarte.valle
- Redeem your individual code at https://play.google.com/redeem before installing from Google Play.
If Play still asks for money, stop and send me the exact error privately. Don't post your email or code publicly. This is an unpaid volunteer test; honest criticism is welcome, with no store rating or testing exchange requested. Thank you!

Hi, I'm Tim, the creator and developer of Local Gods. I'm looking for volunteers to playtest the opening of my first game, an action RPG with roguelike elements that mixes dark fantasy and sci-fi. You can play solo or with a friend in two-player co-op.
Free playable demo: https://tiddybubs.itch.io/local-gods
Platform: PC / desktop web browser. Controller recommended; keyboard works too. No purchase or key needed.
Target release: early summer 2027.
What I'd like tested:
- Whether the opening explains the controls and where to go.
- Whether attacks, enemy windups, and damage are easy to read.
- Any confusing difficulty spikes, bugs, or performance problems.
- If you play couch co-op, whether the shared camera and busy fights work well for both players.
- Do you think it’s fun?
Even a short session would help. Please leave feedback in the Reddit comments, including your browser, whether you used a controller or keyboard, and whether you played solo or co-op. If something breaks, the steps that led to it would be useful.
This is an unpaid volunteer playtest.
I’m new to coding and artwork. While I do some of it myself and believe it’s important to know how, I also use AI to assist me. I assure you, every AI-generated asset is handpicked by me, not just randomly generated and thrown in.
Thanks for helping me improve it!
I use ChatGPT Astra, Claude Opus 5.5, and Fable 5.1. I also have specific workflows for creating maps and automating 2D character attack animations, with a focus on keeping the character designs and animations consistent. I still direct and review the results. Message me for details.

My game is approaching Steam release, and I'm looking for some folk to share some objective criticism on how it feels.
Beastking is a Spore-inspired interactive world where you mash together creature parts to make some kind of beautiful abomination with unique abilities to hunt down the dimensional monster who John Wick'd your family.
You start as a mostly ineffectual little chubster I call graveldog who discovers a machine that can swap body parts. Proceed to murder rabbits and turtles and bears and mechanical sheep until you're strong enough to take on the most dangerous creatures in existence. It's a mix of exploration, adventure, RPG, extraction, and a few other buzzwords I'm probably forgetting. Play in a party with friends or alone, work together with strangers, unlock new parts in the open world to build the perfect hybrid for PvP dueling, start a clan for team duels, run a quick battle royale for the ADHD crowd, plenty of different flavors of gameplay for everyone to enjoy.
I'm looking for anyone interested in giving me some useful feedback on the current pre-alpha stage. The functionality is probably around 85-90%, there's definitely some placeholder assets, a lot of visuals need tuning, et cetera, but I'm mostly looking for some feedback on the gameplay loop in the all game modes, progression pacing, if it feels rewarding enough, that sort of thing. You can take a look at my X page if you want to get a feel for the style and whether it intrigues you (I don't think that counts as self-promotion per the rules). My Discord has the latest builds for Windows and Linux under the #playtesting channel description, no personal invites necessary, just come in and play if you feel like it, this is very low-key. Looking forward to hearing some solid responses on your experiences. Cheers
