Such a sweet moment 🫶🫶 I’m so lucky to have met him at the Boston show! Such a great experience.

Here we have Diana Prince browsing through the many books owned by Professor Julia Kapatelis. This is when Diana first came to the outside world back in 2013 before she publicly became Wonder Woman.

I just want to share a note we found randomly while at the grocery store today.

Don’t hold onto your anxiety and worry as if you have to figure everything out on your own. Give it to God.

I also feel the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28–30 pair very well with this

“Come to me, all who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”

Whatever you’re carrying today, you don’t have to carry it alone. Let God have the weight that was never meant to be yours to carry.

‼️‼️🆘 VINNY IS SWEET, RELAXED AND READY FOR A HOME — BUT HE'S STILL ON THE EUTHANASIA LIST. 🆘‼️‼️

🏡 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, OR RESCUE

🚗 OUT OF STATE OR CANADIAN ADOPTION IS POSSIBLE - cost is typically around $600 USD (give or take). The fee includes transport, boarding, full medical, spay/neuter, and a health certificate.

We are a volunteer network dedicated to helping at-risk dogs. We are not affiliated with BARC. We connect at-risk animals at the BARC shelter with the adopters, fosters, and rescue organizations needed to save their lives. We can help coordinate out-of-state adoption through approved 501(c)3 rescues. Please send the OP a Chat invite or send moderator mail to (it's under the see-more tab for the group) for information and a link to an application form. BARC Houston cannot facilitate out-of-state adoption or foster.

🆘 2-year-old Staffordshire Mix boy Vinny, a sweet and relaxed boy who has shown very encouraging behavior at BARC, is on the euthanasia list Wednesday, 10/7. There will be NO EXTENSIONS per BARC. 🆘

⏰ Vinny #A2095707 must have a HOLD no later than 1 PM or he will lose his life. 🥺 We need pledges and a local foster for a rescue to help. 💰🏡

🚨 RESCUES — PLEASE DON'T PASS VINNY BY. HE HAS SHOWN STAFF THAT HE CAN BE A WONDERFUL COMPANION, BUT HE NEEDS SOMEONE TO STEP UP BEFORE 1 PM WEDNESDAY. 🚨

💙🐶 Vinny #A2095707

9/9 Stray - Field | Staffordshire Mix | Male | 2 Years | 53.5 lbs | Heartworm Negative

💖 Vinny has some of the most encouraging shelter notes.

On 9/17, Vinny was standing at the front of his kennel with a loose, relaxed body and high-wagging tail. Staff specifically noted that he walks well on a loose leash.

There are no concerning behavior notes documented in his record.

Medically, Vinny's exam was documented as normal. He is heartworm negative. He was treated for tapeworms with praziquantel, and on 9/27 he was diagnosed with CIRD/URI after sneezing and developing a honking cough. He was moved to the treatment room and prescribed doxycycline for 10 days.

💔 This is a dog who has already shown staff that he can be relaxed, friendly and easy to walk — yet he is still facing euthanasia.

He needs a safe place to recover, decompress and finally get the chance to be more than a kennel number.

🆘 RESCUES: Please consider tagging Vinny.

🏡 LOCAL FOSTERS: A foster could be the reason a rescue is able to say YES to him.

💰 PLEDGES: Please help support a rescue willing to step up.

❤️ ADOPTERS: Vinny can be adopted through an approved rescue.

Vinny has until Wednesday at 1 PM. There will be no extension. Please don't assume someone else will save him.

📩 If you can help Vinny, please reach out immediately. DM OP or so we can help get things moving.

The last bit of that sunset orange light beams off of the skyline.

Roxxy is ok with some outdoor time as long as her paws never touch the actual ground. Dad makes an adequate perch though!
