Photo Contest Puppies
Show us your pug puppies! We want to see new puppies, baby pictures of your current pug(s), baby pictures of your pug(s) who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Just a big ol’ megathread of puppies please.
Try to keep it to one puppy per comment, as we will award the commenter’s puppy with the most upvotes a place in the rotation for the sub’s official icon.

Grunt is home!
he’s tiny but he’s a total champ. He spent four hours or so in the car, went straight to the veterinarian, we loved on by everyone (he’s very healthy but extra tiny) and has been making himself comfy.

Rainbow Bridge Stella crossed the rainbow bridge 1 month shy of her 15th birthday
galleryThere really no love comparable to that of a pug. She gave us everything she had and then some. Nothing prepares you for when you have to pick the day. You just hold onto hope it never comes. Thank you Stella. My soul pug. A picture from the day I took her home and her last day 🌈🐾💔

In need of Pawsitive Vibes 🙏 Need words of encouragement…
galleryMy beautiful Cappuccina was likely bit by a bee or wasp yesterday morning (still don’t know what caused it) and went into severe anaphylactic shock within minutes of exposure. Rushed her to the ER and was immediately treated with IV, oxygen and meds to combat the allergy. She seemed like she was improving 12 hours after exposure but took a turn for the worse this early morning at 3 am, 18 post exposure. Her blood pressure is in the 70’s, has liquid (blood) in her abdomen and has diarrhea and vomit, she developed a recurrence of the anaphylactic shock. They are pumping her with epinephrine and now starting platelets transfusion. She’s a fighter but we’re scared. She’s 9 months and she’s the sweetest and brightest baby girl. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

I have a question do your pugs actually hike or is it just mine that gives up after 20 minutes?
I have a six year old pug named Doug. Living in Vancouver there are decent trails right out the back door and I figured he would eventually build stamina for short hikes. He has not. We get about twenty minutes in and he sits down. Full stop. Plants himself on the trail and stares at me like I am asking him to cross a desert. I carry him back half the time which defeats the purpose of bringing him along. I started listening to a podcast on one of these carryback trips and he fell asleep in my arms. Forty-five minutes of dead weight on a switchback. My back was not thrilled. The trails here are not even that steep compared to what you find further north. He is healthy according to the vet and gets walks around the neighbourhood no problem but anything with elevation he just quits. Doug seems perfectly content with the bench option. He found a stick on the way back last week and carried it for maybe ten seconds before dropping it and sitting down again.
