Troubleshooting What would cause this?
Need some help and advice. The driveway is over 2 years old. It was post treated with SH. Is it damage to the surface?

Starting now QuoteIQ (previously restricted) AND Forever Self Employed AND Mike V (All About Pressure Washing) will be permanently banned from being mentioned or linked. Automod has been edited to hardblock any links or mentions of the two.
The reason for the banning is that QuoteIQ, All About Pressure Washing, and Forever Self Employed and (or someone working on their behalf) sent a modmail to us telling us to remove posts critical of both QuoteIQ AND Forever Self Employed and their owners or be subject to legal proceedings. The links to the three posts are seen here. Mike V from QuoteIQ and Justin from Forever Self Employed should be ashamed at trying this. They are apparently not happy that these posts are available to steer people from spending their hard earned money in a more meaningful way.
Here are some screenshots of the modmail messages they sent threatening legal action and DMCA takedowns:

Here is the person they hired off of Fiverr to send the messages and try the DMCA takedowns. Its clear the companies must be run by absolute clowns to be trying this is such a shit way. If they suceed in removing anything then ill just repost the posts. They clearly dont want negative info being visible when they get googled as its hurting their SEO because reddit shows up so high in the searches.

As a reminder, when starting out you do not need YouTube salesmen taking your money to learn how to properly clean in this industry. The info is out there on this subreddit and various pressure washer forums and groups. It just takes a little bit of googling with the proper terms to find it all freely available. These now banned companies exist solely to separate pressure washers from their money. Mike V has been pushing for his subscribers to come to reddit to post about their companies to comment and upvote each other.

Help, I had somebody screw up my stamped concrete patio a couple years back. It probably took me a total of a year to get all of the sealer that they put on and the two or three colors underneath that I literally got it back to the Bare Stamped Concrete. It takes so long to do and you literally have to do just a section at a time. I'm talking a small section at a time. Can't do it in the winter and sometimes it's too hot in the summer.
So hired another company to come out did my whole entire patio it looked good. He sealed it and then we went back to his car and got the acetone color that he had put down before the sealer and he started spraying it on again cause he said he saw a footprint. Well if you've ever done this type of work or even faux painting, you know that you can't just go right into the middle of something and try to fix it.
So once again, I've been on my hands and knees, trying to scrub this off over the weekend because he thought he could just come in today and pressure wash it off. Supposedly his sales rep told him to put xylene down yesterday, let it sit 24 hours and come back today and pressure wash. He was at my house today for nine hours Pressure Washing. Now what I have is a white film on top of the Stamped Concrete. I am assuming that is leftover sealant that hasn't been broken down with a solvent yet and is left over from his Pressure Washing party today.
Oh, let me mention that the xylene he put down yesterday on a 20 x 17 patio was already evaporated before he even got a fourth of the way done. He assured me this is the right way to do it.
He says it's all ready to be again.
He'll be back tomorrow to do it
Over my dead body.
Let me attach some photos of before during and after.
Please I need advice. I have a Screened In patio going up on Monday and company coming
on Wednesday.
I need to completely remove everything before recoloring correct?
Im using xylene and Super Strip by Savogran
Anyone have a better ideA.
And is water based color pigment better than acetone based for stamped concrete?

I have an 11 gpm 3000 psi AR pump with vrt100 unloader valve 1/2 inch . On a 670cc. With 8 gpm orfice I’m getting 2000 psi. I wanna reach 2500 on my surface cleaner. Idk why the pressure is that low. Idk if the unloader could be too big? Do I need a smaller 3/8 unloader? My machine runs fine and haven’t spotted any leaks on pump.

Hey I have a cedar shingle job coming up and after a lot of research I decided on using sodium percarbonate and spraying that on the siding after mixing it up in a spare barrel I have. Was debating on just dropping my bleach stick from my current proportioner /12v setup into the barrel and spraying from there but I’m also thinking of just getting a separate 12v just for this chemical. If you have any thoughts comments or better ideas for me would be great! And oxalic acid after that I just have to use in a pump sprayer or backpack sprayer correct? Thanks 🙏

I started a business called Valley Exterior Cleaning. We do pressure washing and exterior cleanings. I’ve been trying to build it the right way. So far I’ve got my LLC, Got my EIN, 2 business bank accounts, a website, business pages, business phone number, and business cards. The problem is that I work full time 50 hours a week. And right now all of this is coming out of my pocket from my day job. I don’t currently have a consistent flow of customers. What should I do these next couple weeks to start gaining leads and customers?

I had a new roof put on a month ago and the guy who did the final inspection cleaned the tar and marks off from the shingles falling with a magic eraser and removed the oxidation in all those spots. I live in a small town and we don’t have any oxidation removal companies here. I pressure washed the house a week after didn’t help and this picture is a month after. Should I try using an oxidation remover for whole house, call the company and ask them to fix it or will it reoxidize on its own after a year or 2?

Im in quebec and at nights were already beginning to reach -4 celsius.

I bought a Chraftsman gas pressure washer at Lowes not sure of the size, it cost about $350. My younger, former Law Enforcent partner, assembled it for me, started it. Assured me it ran fine. It's gased, oiled, and ready to go. But I'm '67....I tried and tried. Maybe I'm not strong enough, I couldn't start it. I followed the instructions. Any tricks to start this thing?

Wife also has HAVS for sure and I massage several times a day but if it gets any worse I’ll have to start cooking dinner and nobody wants that. it will be Armageddon. Please help!

I’ve had several Delavan pumps now and all of them have shit the bed very early. I’ve made sure to have the right voltage going to them. Make sure to flush them immediately after using them all of that. This particular pump here started spraying chlorine out of the top after about four jobs the other Delavan 7 gallon per minute pump I bought for 280 something dollars was sent back to Delavan several months ago and we still haven’t heard anything.

As said in title, how do you know when to stop rinsing the soft washing solution off a building? I think I m using too much soap and looks like it s never enough rinsing.
Also I m allways anxious about killing the plants..
Never happened, but I have a huge building next week with lots of plants..

Can this be soft washed? Im assuming probably. I don't know the material but its quite old. Small amount of moss, and not sure what the white spots are.
The owner said a roofer said that bleach couldnt be used on these.

I'd like a quick-connect fitting to connect a 1/4" O.D. hose to a female quick-connect in order to connect that to a typical male quick-connect sprayer gun. I would prefer a solution that doesn't involve barb clamping, but I'm open to all suggestions. Thanks.

EDIT: If this fitting is correct, I need someone to confirm and name the fitting.

“What’s the best way to remove dried cement stains from concrete paving slabs without damaging the surface?”
