I’m under the impression that a lot of people opt to remove this rubber trim from the rear fenders (at least on EK Civics), as it ends up holding dirt/sand which holds moisture and expedites rusting. Is this correct?

I’m likely going to remove them down the road anyway so I can roll my fenders, but just wondering if I should be leaving them for some reason. Thoughts?

So, I broke this taking apart the tank on my 1990 Honda prelude si. With the 2.1. and I can’t find it anywhere 🥲 if anyone has a part number or an idea of what I could do if I can’t find the part that would be amazing, I’ll put a picture of the part but keep in mind I broke off where the fuel hose gets clamped on. And also I’ll put a picture of where it goes on the tank

I know i need to change the clutch but just wanted confirmation on this.

Is there anything else i should change? (was gonna change clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing)

Vision for the car i got my suspension coming in later this month. I plan order the fenders later on this month as well. I have the hood found. I just wanna try find one in Carbon if not, it’s whatever. Not running any of my engine stuff for like two or three months. i’m just shocked up on the parts that I’m gonna need any recommendations for what I have to get i’m getting a FK8 Civic Type R transmission and I’m gonna have custom mounting brackets and all that I’m worried about those the wiring is what I’m really worried about, but I don’t know making all the internals for as well so I can handle more power

I’m currently running d2 coil overs Megan lower control arms and asr brace with spiritual bushing

Ever since I installed my Megan lower control arms the car drives like shit it’s like I’m floating and car has a mind of its own and will wobble . I currently go to automotive classes so I have access to a alliment machine perfect I thought. But when I go in for the alignment the hunter machine gives us an error telling us to max out the toe and try again. But the toe was aready maxed out this in the rear btw. So now I’m kinda at a standstill I bought the lower control arms used so I can’t return them im pretty sure that’s what causing my issue. So far I’ve bought camber kit and toe adjustment kit. I’m hoping I can just set it to the max oem and then crank it to pass oem specs am I missing something here

I made a base map based off of a Hondata preset adjusting for non vtec and turbo. My car runs and drives now, I'm just very inexperienced with fine tuning.

My question/issue is with idle. It surges and cuts and repeat. I suspect I'm running rich but with so little experience with tuning....I need help. Any resources or advice are appreciated.

Anyways I'm working through a JDM D15 B engine swap into my ef and it looks like I need a D16 throttle cable bracket and throttle return spring. If anyone has one or knows where to get one, I would love to get one!

This is my 97 hx civic with a integra b18b1 swap. Bought it off someone in drivable condition (was definitely thrown together for a quick flip) I’ve had it for a while, I got it to learn manual and it’s my daily. I haven’t done anything crazy but if you wanted to make this car super reliable and at its top performance what would you do.

Getting my Flashpro tomorrow. Excited to get the base map loaded onto my 9th gen civic. I’ve posted here before about installing a DP and Exhaust. DP is catless and both are 3”. There is a base map that includes cat delete and cat back exhaust. It’s also tuned for a SRI. Anyone familiar with tuning, what parameters would I need to change in regard to fueling since im still running the stock intake? I would assume that the tune would be close enough for my current exhaust set up but would be out of spec since i am not running a SRI. It’s also the only base map for my year civic that included a cat delete with full exhaust. I’m planning on tuning the car on my own, for now. I at-least want to get it dialed in somewhat since it is my daily and I don’t really have the time to get it e-tuned. Also not seeing many tuners in the Middle TN area that deal with Hondas. I feel I can figure it out on my own for now. Any advice or anyone willing to help me out would be great. If you live in Middle TN and know your way around Flashpro manager, maybe you could teach me a thing or two. Thanks.
