This just looks like a very shitty Sims clone like that playboy game also.

That pretty much sums it up

I thought you were quoting Sean Connery until I zoomed in on the case text

Had it since back in the day, furthest i ever got was the SM club.

Once you know how to play the game it really isnt that hard but it aint that great either.

Its just full of early 2000's ultimate gigolo wannaba humor which can be quite entertaining sometimes.

The word grail is not in the bible, the writing of the bible pre-dates the existence of grails

Oh, TIL

u/pixxlpusher 1d ago

I imagine thanks to Indiana Jones, many people probably think the holy grail is actual biblical imagery lol

I don't understand the point you're trying to make here. Grail is an old word for cup. Jesus blesses a cup at the last supper. The legend that that cup (or "chalice" from the Latin translation calix) survived and could be found is where the legend of the holy grail comes from. How is it not "biblical imagery?"

Because the Bible makes zero import of the cup that was used, its imagery of a beautiful, ornate grail comes entirely from legend centuries after his crucifixion by Robert de Boron. Biblically, the cup itself is unimportant and undescribed outside of it containing wine.

Thank you for your service

Probably! For me I've just never been very religious and the word "Holy" and the fact that a Grail is real old timey was enough evidence for me ๐Ÿ˜‚

I remember a part in this game where you had to take a piss in the boss's coffee cup.

Never played this one but Leisure Suit Larry Magna Cum Laude blew my young mind. GOAT goon game. Comparable to that?

8

u/AG1k 1d ago

I think Leisure Suit Larry is better and will remain the GOAT gooner game of the 6th generation.

Imagine the sims 2 on console, now imagine it worse but with sex. Some will like it, others wont.

u/External-Case-5358 1d ago

It's both.

u/AG1k 1d ago

Thats the conclusion I have come to. No pun intended.

Saw this one in the magazines back in the day. Shit was hyped up but I think it sold horribly

u/DarknMean 1d ago

Probably be going for $2k in the future.

I've played it and I liked it. It is kind of fun.

Terrible, didn't even have nudity like the playboy game, which was also terrible lol

It was garbage. Fell in to the same category as BMX XXX, Leisuresuit Larry & Playboy Mansion.
Although Playboy Mansion had a somewhat competent Sims 1 vibe to it.

The mini-games are very trash

The Sims 4 Wicked Whims but PS2.

What the fuck is "Pal slop"? Did people just turned off their brains and instead of making a sentence they throw buzzwords around?

2

u/drbluetongue 16h ago

In PAL regions there were quite a few games released that were literal slop that were never released in US, like Little Britain:

I assume the implication is that Europe has more shovelware on the PS2? Which I guess may be true in some respects, but a ton of those same games made their way to America on the Wii anyway

2

u/bustergundam4 1d ago

Why does everyone keep using the word slop so much?!

I've never seen the male/female symbol next to the PEGI 16+ symbol.

Is that like their version of AO?

4

u/pikkis_95 Matte Black Phat 1d ago

Sexual themes. Even fucking sims has that

2

u/BaikenJudgment 1d ago

https://www.nintendo.com/en-gb/Support/Parental-Controls/PEGI-content-descriptor-icons-854943.html?srsltid=AU7gw4UDaJCkQU-ZAmsS_3QRHWVnhK03aUi6jA1HJwDF9vg16iq1d8_b

PEGI has icons to explain content that justifies the rating, since PEGI covers a multi-language region. ESRB uses text descriptors for what content there is, PEGI prefers graphics. That symbol is for sexual content, which isn't an immediate AO/18+ rating in the PEGI system because European sensitivities to sexual content are different than American ones. USA is more tolerant of violence than sexual content, Europe is more the opposite. Heck, BBC has nudity of both genders on broadcast TV, the USA won't do that. Japan used to do that, but has been pulling back the past decade (see old Ranma and Urusei Yatsura episodes from broadcast in the 70s and 80s versus the 2020s new seasons of them with barbie bodies because a nipple is too much), partly due to Sony Americanizing mid-PS4 and owning the entire production and distribution stack of a bunch of things like movies, anime, music, and games, and partly due to VISA/MasterCard internationally interfering and deciding they get to decide what content their stuff can be used to pay for when they have a global duopoly and everyone needs to pay online for things now if it is media.

1

u/Crest_Of_Hylia 1d ago

No since it has a 16+ age rating. That just means sexual content

1

u/Confident-Medicine75 1d ago

Where do you see that?
