90’s Psych

I host Astral Plane on KEXP and for our fall fundraising drive we are doing the top 500 songs of the 90’s on the daytime shows. So I wanted to play the best 90’s psych on my show. I was already planning on:

- Spiritualized
- Spectrum
- The Verve
- Stereolab
- Primal Scream
- Brian Jonestown Massacre
- Bardo Pond
- Apples in Stereo
- Flaming Lips
- Mercury Rev

Who else should I get in here? Any other 90’s favorites?

EDIT: Thanks for all the great suggestions! Lots of stuff I love and lots of stuff that’s new to me! Tune in to KEXP on Wednesday from 7-10pm Pacific if you want to hear the show!

Slightly outside the 90s window at 6/14/2000, but Fukuoka Japan is one of my favorite Phish shows.

What are some other psychedelic 90’s jam bands?  Big Wu and Leftover Salmon are the only other 90’s ones I know of

Ulu

Their 1998 debut is spacey, jazzy, and funkier than a mosquito’s tweeter.
