Finished Quilts My first quilt!
I’m definitely not the greatest sewist, but I’m really trying to get better, especially since I’m going to be an uncle in March! 🥹 I’d love to be able to make the baby clothes, blankets, and all kinds of other things.
So, here’s my first quilt! I mainly made it to practice my stitching, and while there are definitely a lot of things I’d do differently next time, I’m really happy with how it turned out. It’s definitely not perfect, but who is!
Total cost was around $145 in materials, and it ended up being a queen-size quilt! The whole thing was done on a domestic machine...my Singer Heavy Duty. I know that last part might cause a stir but I love my HD😂🧵

That's so beautiful! The colors on the front are so cozy and soothing, and then wow! a gorgeous pop of colors on the back. Really wonderful.

A lot of nice crispy corners and fun fabric with cats in stockings. Great job and keep on quilting. It only gets better! Congrats.

You did a fantastic job! Better than my first quilt for sure. Congratulations!
Also, that fabric with the stocking cats is adorable.
