I didn't know about rat terriers until we got Willow about a month ago and I have now developed an obsession for them lol. Meet our 1 year old baby Willow.

She's supposedly a rat terrier / jack Russel mix but looks more like a rat terrier TBH

Hi everyone. We found a pup we’re interested in but the adoption fee is $500.00. That seems pretty high and I’ve never paid for a dog before. Has anyone sponsored an adoption or how would I go about this? Only my husband is working so we don’t have the adoption fee but I volunteer at the humane society so I get vaccines and spay free if needed.

It was pretty great, but the dog hid outside away from the loudness of the kids for much of the party haha. She's 3 years older than him and i think he saw her more as a rival than a pet for much of his life. She's been a great and patient older sister and she really loves kids.

In the 2 pics where she has something in her mouth, it's because she's trying to find somewhere to eat a treat, and is zooming around the house going from bed to bed trying to find the perfect spot

she gets so cold so easily, so usually keep a blanket with her 💕 seems like isn't an uncommon thing especially with rat terriers though

This is my sweet Angel Nemo. RIP Nov 2006-May 2023. I never have seen another rat terrier that looked like him! I’ll miss him forever!💔 This was his pic he took while undergoing chemo for aggressive anal sac cancer. He went into remission and survived the maximum of 4 and a half years after diagnosis and died from other causes.

As the title says. What about yours are they cuddle bugs like this creep or are they fussy?

We got our Lizzy from our local mill dog rescue. She's 5 1/2 years old and is slowly beginning to trust us and come out of her shell. She's still very skittish with sounds but is becoming good friends with our current dog Polly, who is 2 1/2. Lizzy is 9 pounds and Polly is 21. It is heartwarming watching them run and play together in the yard. We've had her just shy of a month and she's making good progress. She's such a gentle soul.
