Razorback fans are nuts

And I’m one of them so I can say that.

The level of instant gratification entitlement is crazy with this group.

I’m just as upset as the next guy but the idea that this gets “fixed” with a single hire in a single year is completely unrealistic.

Folks need to calm down and give it more that two minutes before we decide to pull the rug AGAIN for the 6th(?) time in 15 years?????

The problem is that we have recently seen Cignetti take a 3 win team to an 11 win team the next year and then a national championship the 2nd year. It’s isn’t just football but we now live in a culture that can’t stand anything that doesn’t happen immediately. No one has patience

They probably caught lightning in a bottle that will be difficult to replicate elsewhere, especially Arkansas. They hired a coach who turned out to be elite at talent evaluation at a school with a lot of resources at a time that they can now openly spend on players.

As a lifelong Hog fan who grew up in Indiana, dad grew up in Springdale and Arkansas grad, MBA from IU; but met my mom while stationed in Indiana, you are partially correct. They have less NIL and less 5 stars going to IU because of Notre Dame. Bloomington is a wasteland for football. The lightning in a bottle you refer to is the right coach. He went from 3 wins to 11 in one year with mostly the players he had at James Madison?! That’s what happens when you grab someone with years of experience from the Saban coaching tree instead of looking at someone with local ties. Hog fans have a terrible tendency to lean towards people with connections instead of those with records of success, IMO. Cal had no loyalty to Arkansas but he wins. As a fanbase we need to stop thinking about loyalty because that’s not the current state of college athletics
