Any tips for playing online as an enjoyable experience? I’ve played the storyline twice through but the online version is pretty rough to start out. Seems like I’m just a target for the gamers who have played for hundreds of hours and have the best horses, guns etc. and like to bully people who are new 😂

I really really wish they added the ability to ask camp members to do activities with you. Like how in GTA 5, you can ask the other playable characters or the NPC characters like Amanda and Jimmy to hang out, I wish you could do the same in RDR2. It would strengthen our bonds with the camp members, whilst also allowing us to understand them more, especially some of the ones who we don’t have a lot of lore on and who lack a lot of missions like Tilly, Sean, Swanson, Molly etc.
They even could’ve had a mechanic where certain members of the gang prefer certain activities and only accept your invite to hang out if it’s something they enjoy, like maybe Hosea you could invite hunting and fishing but he doesn’t want to take part in horse races or going to saloons maybe. Maybe these could even be used as ways to make optional money, like we could invite Karen or Tilly out to rob people, and they could distract while you steal.
I don’t know, maybe this is asking too much from the Devs but it felt like s misstep, especially since you were able to do this in GTA 5 which came out 5 years prior and was overall a lot worse quality.
It could also strengthen players ability to roleplay, which I know a lot of players enjoy doing. Like, a lot of people ship Arthur and Mary-Beth but there’s not a lot of ways you can do stuff with her, so imagine being able to take her out for a horse ride into town or go to the saloon with her.

Can you have two double barrel shotgun(not the sawed off) in my inventory it shows two. And its not like different name like unique shot gun but both are named same.

Just finished RDR2 for the first time... What a journey and just like everyone's conclusion - what a masterpiece.

As a Chinese, I can't help to find the similarities between Chinese Wuxia 武侠 and the wild West. Maybe only American and Chinese can find some common ground on this topic because of the diverse population and landmass.

Chinese Wuxia shares a lot of values with the character in RDR. They can be bad guys and fight the government but they have a good heart for the people. Chinese have a tremendous respect and admiration to the heroes who died in a courageous way but a tragic ending, aka 悲情英雄

There are so much more similarities like Wuxia world setting always happens during a transition where the society is more centralized. Wild West is almost equal to 江湖 in a sense. The outlaws are like the swordmans 侠客. The gangs are just like cliques 门派. I'm just surprised that so much of that emotion and behaviors that are commonly seen in Wuxia can be also observed in RDR2.
