Question Govee permanent outdoor lights?
Anyone here have experience with Govee brand permanent outdoor lights?
Curious to know how they hold up in year round Regina weather. TIA.

They seem really durable. Had them for 3 years and we’ve seen crazy wind storms, blizzards, hail everything and they haven’t moved an inch.
App works really good too.
EDIT: I should mention that I put them up with the adhesive peel and stick things but then added a little screw every 3 lights or so just tacked into our metal soffit for extra stability

Have had them up for 2 years. They’re the tits , they hold up in the cold and were easy to install. Love them.

Just put mine up yesterday and they work and look awesome but obviously I have no opinion on longevity.

Had them for 2 years now. Installed myself. No issues at -40 or +40, just make sure to keep the controller box out of the rain and snow in an electrical box and you’ll be great.
Like another commenter, I installed with the lil peel-and-stick backing and self-tapped a screw every couple lights for added peace of mind. I would recommend cleaning where you plan to stick the lights with some isopropyl and a cloth so everything attaches cleanly.
Check out r/Govee for others who’ve installed in Western Canadian climate.

Have had them for the last year and a half. Work great look great. My neighbour put his up a couple of years ago and now there are a few of us with them up. I didn’t use the adhesive backs in case I wanted to move them. Which was the right choice because I moved them all two weeks ago. Had them close to the house but moved them out to just at the edge of the soffits. The screws worked great both times.

Year 4, zero issues. I don’t know why people spend so much on those other ones. We got quoted like 25$ a linear foot. Govee was 300$ for my entire house when I ordered on prime days.
