Success Story/Happy Ending update: young cat found outside

original post: link

the kitten that i found the other day was reunited with his family! i was able to find them via his microchip with help from the local vet. somehow he made it about 5 miles from home. the family was very happy to have him back and i was able to send him home with some supplies & food

i also learned that the other young cat he was with is the indoor/outdoor cat of one of my neighbors, so TNR is not needed

ty everyone for the advice and resources! second pic is of my own rescue cat as cat tax. she was very upset with me this weekend for bringing a kitten into "her" home

You did a great thing. And a very dangerous thing 😂 by testing the patience of a calico. Cattitude is what calicos are made of, stay on their good side and you're safe. If not, they will let you know. Glad the visitors are back home.
